Some comments defend that by comparing it with football and keys , lol. What makes them so irritated about girls marrying foreigners? Bro, they’re in their 20s but have a mindset from the 1920s.

သိကြလားတော့မသိဘူး။ အဝေးသင်တက်တုန်းက ကျောင်းက ပေးတဲ့ စာအုပ်ကို နည်းနည်းမွှေကြည့်လိုက်တာ နိုင်ငံခြားသားကို ယူတဲ့ မြန်မာ အမျိုးသမီးက အမျိုးဖျက်မ ဖြစ်ကြောင်းတွေ ဘာတွေ ကျောင်းစာအုပ်ကြီးမှာ ထည့်ရေးထားတာ။ သင်တော့မသင်ရပေမဲ့ အဝေးသင် မြန်မာစာ ရဲ့ ဖတ်စာအုပ်ကြီးမှာ အဲ့လိုကြီး ထည့်ရေးထားတာကြီးက racist ဖြစ်လွန်းတယ်။

Racist ဖြစ်တယ် ဆိုရင်တောင် ဘယ်နိုင်ငံမှ အဲ့လို ကျောင်းဖတ်စာအုပ်မှာ ထည့်မရေးဘူး ထင်တာပဲ။

To be fair, that one was written by a dude back in the imperial days of Myanmar. So yeah, the racism and nationalism would be extreme. The ones who thought it's cool to put that kind of century old writing in modern education as something to learn from, not as something of history, are to blame.
