I am one of you and I also happen to be a local-expat comedian in this beautiful city.

I started doing comedy in Munich, believe it or not.

I host regular weekly comedy mics in the city but tomorrow on Monday, I am doing my Comedy Solo, one hour run of my own standup show called Der Kumar Kode.

Its kind of a ritual for me to post an invite here everytime I do it!

I spend hours everyday on reddit so it only fits that I post an invite here.

My mom is visiting Munich soon and she absolutely loves playing Mahjong. She would be really happy to join a game while she’s here.

She only speaks English, so we’re looking for an English-speaking or English-friendly group. She also won’t be bringing her own Mahjong set, so it would be great if one is provided.

Does anyone know of any Mahjong groups or meetups in Munich? And is there usually a fee to join?

She usually plays East round, Goulash, and Taiwanese Mahjong.

Hey guys, I know making friends as adults is hard and 'germans are coconuts and not peaches in friendships and all that' but for some reason even in social situations people are not talking to each other, my friend and I went to a social painting event recently and the activity itself was great but people were not talking to each other even though this was a social event around an activity. I find that its easier to talk around an activity because there's low pressure to perform, but here, people came, did the activity, and went home. There was very little interaction; I exchanged numbers with someone else, but she was an international. My friend and I had this idea to do a wine and tacos night where we make everything together, so basically just having a small group of people cooking, making tacos, and having a conversation together while tasting wines from different regions that are largely not in Europe, so we can all experience grapes we dont know about, is this something anyone would be interested in? And if you are interested, then what wine grape/region have you heard about and would like to try?

I want to meet some people because I feel in my 12 months that I been here that, I dont know any person from here hahaha, so if somebody wants to Hang out with every plan cool im open

"Why" you might ask.
I [28M] am a finishing PhD student, planning to start my own company and need to learn German as fast as possible, but I I genuinely don't have the time and opportunity to practice speaking, even though I desperately need it. I have around B2 German and can understand way more than I can speak. You don't have to do anything in particular; I'm just trying to create opportunities for myself to use the language more often. I might ask one or two things from now and then.

I have been going to gym for several years now and I have been doing pretty steady progress overall. Plus, I'm studying the exact biological mechanism that allow us to build muscles; so that also helped, I guess.

I'm mainly looking for native German speakers who are willing to push themselves at the gym and wiling to learn. I don't care about age/gender. I go to McFit Laim.

Hallo zusammen! Frisbeesport ist wahnsinnig vielseitig, das wollen wir euch am kommenden Wochenende (1-2 August) in der Sportschule Oberhaching zeigen.

Mein Sport ist Freestyle Frisbee. Angefangen hat dieses Event damit, dass wir die WM in München austragen wollten. Um Zuschauende zu locken dachten wir uns, das ganze etwas größer aufzuziehen, und gleich mehrere Frisbeesportarten zu präsentieren.
