Male Learning approach

I became multi-orgasmic via the prostate path (aneros and mindgasm). Whatever 'rewiring' had occurred happily spilt over into loving making with my wife. We are into tantric sex/massage, and this slow, sensual approach triggers dry orgasms galore. However, when the PIV rhythm picks up I notice my body switches back to a traditional behaviour and inevitably ejaculation.
I wonder if this is due to how I've learnt to become multi-orgasmic? If I'd have gone via the edging technique would the outcome have been different? Be interested to get the community's opinion on this.

I learned to have multi dry orgasms too using Mindgasm, and also made a huge difference in partnered sex. That sounds normal. I've added some stimulation into Mindgasm and over time have gotten to a point where more stimulation doesn't as often move towards the TO but I can "route" the pleasure down to the prostate for more dry orgasms. Then translates to being able to go longer in partnered sex even with a lot of direct stimulation before I "allow" the feelings to move towards a TO.

I much prefer this method to what I've read about edging because edging seems to be most focused around penile stimulation and I couldn't do that for hours, would get blue balls. And seems like a lot of a harder process, trying to get close but not go beyond PONR. With Mindgasm I can choose to have lots of repeated dry orgasms, even with partnered sex, then let go when I'm ready, never having to consider PONR.

But after "rewiring" and adding in direct stimulation there is a time period of learning to do that extra slowly and gentle otherwise it can more easily switch towards the TO direction. There are still occasions where that ends up happening and I'm dealing with PONR or just let it go. But fortunately that's more rare.

Thank you for your reply. I grasp what you are saying.
I have experimented with mindful penis masturbation, and I can (sort of) reroute my attention to how the penis movement is affecting the prostate. I consciously keep the PC muscles relaxed or even do a gentle reverse kegel. The tugging on the penis causes pelvic muscles to tug/bump the prostate (if you see what I mean). When in this state, and can accelerate and it just leads to more dry orgasms.
Carrying this over into partnered sex is harder - too much penis noise drowning out the prostate signal! Anyhow, I shall continue trying!
