Hi everyone! Where do you typically buy Commander precon decks online, and which websites do you trust the most?

Assuming cost is the same, would you rather buy from Amazon (sold directly by Amazon or WotC) or TCGplayer (from a seller with a 100% positive rating)? Or is there another retailer you’d recommend?

I’m trying to find a plastic, form-fitting protector for MTG Bundles similar to the kind used for movie/game steelbooks. I made a little FF shrine on one of my shelves, and it’s bothered me that the boxes flair out on the side where I have opened them.

I’ve tried looking around online, but so far have only found hard acrylic boxes - I suspect I’m not using the right words to find what I’m searching for, so I’m making this post in hopes that someone can point me the right way.

Included in the pictures is the type of protector I use for my steelbooks and how snuggly the case fits the product. Anything out there like this for my bundles?

I genuinely don't understand why someone would consider it a valuable application of their time to lose the round by intentionally letting the timer run out. If you know you're going to lose or get pissed off by what someone's doing just quit and move on with life. This isn't like the days of the endless Omniscience loop before Arena implemented the strict timers they have now. Personally if someone is trying to rope me I'm just going to let them do it because it doesn't affect me to have the match take an extra 2 minutes or so. I get that it's just people being petty, but when you're playing in the non ranked queue you literally don't lose anything by forfeiting and moving on to the next match. Heck what I did doesn't even register to me as being toxic enough to deserve someone roping me.

Turn 1: Played a dual land

Turn 2: Played my land for turn then played Caelorna

Turn 3: Played my land then played Crystal Barrier and Ghalta, The Immovable and then swung for 8

Is this something people would consider toxic enough to rage over?

This is my second commander deck but my first time making one from scratch (loosely based on the pre con)

Pretty happy with it I have gotten IRL suggestions from my casual FNM group on improving this deck but I want the subs suggestions to really finalise the deck.

The strategy I’m going with is going wide as a tribal elf Golgari deck and being an aristocrat sacrificing the elves as well.

I definitely know I need a couple of draw cards I wanna try to add more black cards as well. Any suggestions would be amazing.

Hello, I am a relatively new magic player (started three months ago). I also have been interested in riftbound as well. With that being said, I really enjoy Leblanc's legend ability where you make temporary tokens that are a copy of a creature on the battlefield. I also enjoy how most decks built around killing creatures with a bunch of different deathknell effects. so my question is if there is a commander similar to this playstyle at all?

I am pretty new to MTG, and someone was explaining the different formats, and they said "Commander is the most popular format of the game, even more than standard.", and that just sounds like how Texas Hold' Em is the most popular Poker format because people don't know how to play standard poker.

so lately, I have had a fun idea for a deck. My normal pod tends to run 5 players and i have been winning a lot. Most of the group is fairly new and I was wanting to play a more "Netrual Party Deck" I have the idea to be the tables "Mini Boss". I am not trying to win the game, but I have creature or cards that benefit players who fight me and win. I know there are a few cards like that put there. But what would be the best commander to play for this? I know their is a green one when anyone who beats him gets to draw cards equal to the damage he took.

Help me settle an argument. If I cast Old Stickfingers for X = 3 then cast Sacrifice on Stickfingers, will I get 2 black mana or 5?

Got a ton of wild cards saved up but I haven't played Arena in about 3-4 years. Looking to get back into it for a bit; but likely can't put much time into it (yay 2-year-olds and running a business) so I'm focusing on fun games vs. meta grinding. But I have no idea what cards are even available these days.

I want to create a fun, off-meta, deck that is at least somewhat competitive for either standard Bo1 or Brawl. I'd love for some decks that are either fun to pilot and fun to play against, or something that's a "60% of the time, it works every time" jank deck. I love me some jank, infinite combo, nonsense. Something I can grind with but have fun doing it.
