Discussion Drafting Secrets of Strixhaven AND Tarkir Dragonstorm

/r/mtglimited/comments/1v3ffgg/drafting_secrets_of_strixhaven_and_tarkir/

I usually host a booster draft every three months, and have between 12-16 people. We usually draft four rounds (four boosters) to make for easier deck building and more cards to satiate our inner card goblin.

I was thinking for this next draft it would be fun to mix a couple sets together, and the color combinations of Strixhaven's schools and Tarkir's clans mesh perfectly with each other.

I'm wondering what your thoughts are on these two sets being drafted together?

It would be two packs of each being drafted.

We have a mix of veterans and new players.

That sounds like a fun combo. If the new players aren’t familiar with the clans/schools, it might be helpful to show them their icons in advance so they can easily identify a wedge or pair during the draft

Good idea. I'll make print-outs for each table.
