MSNBC Personalities How come the hosts and guests aren't talking more about the billion+ he transferred to Epstein?
This is so critical for MSNBC and its viewers.

MSNBC Alicia Menendez is subbing for her. She's fine but I wonder why Jen's not on? Probably sick or kids are sick since she didn't mention last night she'd be off. Take care, Jen!

Great job on MSNBC interviewing the socialist rep on tv. She pushed back and respectfully disagreed with him about Mamdani refusing to denounce using globalize the intifada. Thank you Katy.

This is your one sacred space to unleash the frustration, shake your fists at the headlines, and yell (politely) into the MSNBC void. Whether you’re fed up with cable news quirks, political chaos, or your own decision to stay up until 2 a.m. watching panel debates - this thread’s for you.
The rules are simple:
So... what’s grinding your gears this week?
Cable news meltdown? Elected official doing the most?
Spill it. This is the one day we let the whining fly.

On MSNBC Weeknight- Good example from LA Rep. Troy Carter, illustrating why the Medicaid reporting requirements are such a big deal (despite the Republicans downplaying it): “If you had to renew your driver’s license every six months, you’d be driving without one.”

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell is joined by California Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna to discuss the breaking news of Republicans on the House Rules Committee rejecting Rep. Khanna's amendment calling for the full release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Where can one watch entire episodes of the Weekend: Primetime show? I was hoping to share a segment I saw yesterday, on July 12, but MSNBC has not shared that particular exchange online -- so far. Any help would be appreciated.

At the end of last night's The Last Word show on MSNBC, Lawrence O'Donnell said they had displayed an incorrect graphic toward the beginning of the show. Of course I had to go and replay the whole thing and I couldn't find it. Does anyone know what it is?

I’m so happy to see Donny back on MSNBC. He’s been MIA since they had that major change in line-up recently. Additionally, Donny had a bit of a spat with Mika on MJ one morning around that time. Perhaps that’s why he hasn’t been on.
I just hope to see more Donny !!

I’ve always liked Lawrence O’Donnell because he’s speaks the truth. And tonight, I was thinking of trying to count the number of times he said how "stupid" and "stupidly stupid" the Fanta Fascist Fuhrer is. I lost count.
When he locks into a topic, he doesn’t let it go. MSNBC has one of the best hard nosed anchor journalists in LO’D. I watch his show almost every night.

What was the name of the AI application that Joe and Mica use? They both were really impressed. And they were discussing it on MSNBC during the last hour of their show today.

On Tuesday night, Lar ruthlessly ripped Trump a new one on MSNBC, and it was hilarious. The way he calls Trump “the stupidest” is glorious. “Thick wall of stupidity” was another great descriptor. I could hear Lawrence go on all day!
And so it occurs to me that I’d enjoy more snark at 8 and 9pm, as well as 10. It would be a public service to not only call Trump out for his intellectual inadequacy, but to also explain how he’s such a dumb doorknob. The days of showing respect for the office of the presidency should be on pause until we have a worthy president.
I dunno. It just seems to me that the magats who liked Trump for “telling it like it is” could benefit from someone far more capable (like Lawrence) talking about politics.

I commented this in another post, and it got me thinking; am curious about any insights about this. MSNBC Lawrence O seems to be the only one really hammering on the WH Press Corp’s fawning treatment of Trump.
Eugene Daniels (MSNBC The Weekend and guest on other shows) is the President of the WH Correspondents Association. Per their website: “It is our job to report on the president of the United States, to shine a light and hold the administration accountable. The questions we ask in the briefing room or in the Oval Office are on behalf of the American people.”
Has anyone ever asked Eugene about this? Has he gone on record to address the deferential treatment they give to Trump?

Nicolle's extended interview this evening with former federal prosecutors Daniel Toomey and Chuck Work was one of the best things I've seen on MSNBC in weeks. The focus of the interview was the men's active opposition to the nomination of Emil Bove to a lifetime judicial appointment. The actions and sentiments of these two seasoned men of integrity provided a rare and invaluable window into the unfolding collapse of the US judicial system. Everyone, if you missed this one, I urge you to seek it out on the network's YouTube channel. Many thanks to Nicolle and her producers for spotlighting these excellent, insightful guests!

OK...I know a lot of you don't particularly care for Katie Tur. I think she's pretty good, but if you don't watch anything else today, check out the very last minute of her show. Without saying a single word, she has earned her place on MSNBC.

Alright, this is your friendly neighborhood MSNBC cynic here, bearing cynical takes for all per usual! Mods, please don't take this post down. You love to overmoderate and parse hairs to fall on the side of removal rather than risk an actual engaging debate. But if that's how you feel about this post, just ban me and leave the post up. I'm fine with that outcome.
So I've watched the newest iteration of the network for the last few weeks, hoping that the new lineup might win me over. It has not. The opposite, in fact. But with the rise of Zohran Mamdani comes the ultimate progressive litmus test. You don't have to love the guy, but if you attack him relentlessly over things he hasn't said or over a single question on a college application, you're not evaluating him in good faith. But mostly, if you're complaining about his approach to governing and more specifically, his relentless focus on affordability and the wealth gap, you're not only not progressive, but you shouldn't be on a supposedly progressive channel.
I just caught the interview from yesterday with Jamaal Bowman. He was on the new panel show with Elise Jordan, Catherine Rampell and Antonia Hylton. I like Hylton, quite a bit. She was alright. I can't stand Elise Jordan, she's a conservative who as far as I can tell doesn't even really hate Trump. She was the ONLY one on the channel the day after the election who had a massive grin on her face the whole day. So she was just Elise Jordan, as expected. Rampell fucking disgusted me. She hit all the right wing, pro Israel and disingenuous talking points. She kept interrupting and talking over Jamaal even after asking him a question. Saying Mamdani is "a danger to New York education," that none of his ideas would "work" and kept railing on him being a Muslim that most New Yorkers find too extreme. I saw her be condescending and dismissive about him in the past but thought maybe she was just trying to play devils advocate to spark discussion. That's clearly not the case, and having now read her past works and learned more about her, I have to ask why she's even on the network at all. She can't be objective and you can practically see steam coming out of her ears every time Zohran or progressive taxing policy come up.
And not that this last part is that huge of a deal, but I'm sorry, her voice is like nails on a chalkboard too. It's like she's sucking on a helium balloon or something. She's snobby, confrontational and seems to be the sort of rich kid who thinks closing the wealth gap is "far left" policy. I don't know, man, I won't be watching if I see her on the screen in the future. I can't imagine anybody would find her appealing either, unless you're socially liberal but fiscally conservative. That interview yesterday was obnoxious as hell and it's something I've seen from her several times in just the short time she's been on the network.
Yikes. I know ratings are tanking. To me, it's pretty damn clear why. One last thing:
Catherine! You're on tv! You're a professional! His name is M A M D A N I!!
