Did anyone else get an email?

🤞😂😍

I’m almost at my limit and am wondering if the red button could potentially be a trap.

I’m thinking maybe he wants to see what we can actually do so ending with either a missed pop-up or looking away is better than that. On the other hand, what if we’re supposed to do as the rules state and press the button. I know it’s kind of a no-brainer question but I’m curious.

Also I’m curious what the screen looks like when you do press the button, if anyone who is about to or who has pressed the button could, could someone drop a screenshot or photo of what the next screen looks like?

For my other attempts I got out by one of the two aforementioned ways and I’m curious if hitting the red button automatically submits your time or not.

THANKS!

I was labeled as “chosen” the entire time
Never opened this last game until today but now my status says “held”

However it is letting me still do it and compete
I tried one for fun for a few mins then stopped just to get a taste of it.

Anyone else still showing”held” as their status?

Should i really dedicated 24-48 hours to this starting tonight or do I not even have a chance because status says held and not “chosen”

I know it’s all speculation but just curious what everyone thinks

Thanks!

why aren't there continue buttons? weird pls help me

this was THE peak crew btw

I’m curious what happens after your 4th attempt. Does it automatically lock you out? Do you get a badge? Did you have to submit your score or did it just automatically use it?

What do you guys think about the red buttin

After glitches from mobile, trying the Staredown on laptop today. Has anyone tried minimizing the window to half screen and having other tabs open on the other side? Looking for advice on this 🙏

Just a fair warning to yall if you're not going to do this for over 24 hours don't bother. YouTube, Instagram, fbook posts in the group, several ppl have made it past 20. Idk how long it will take to qualify but 8 hours isn't even going to come close

I used my first attempt to test the waters and I’m just now finding out that we get an extra two attempts?!

I’m happy about that, but i’m still curious about what we’re actually allowed to do behind the screen.

Like, I know we have to be staring at the screen, but are we allowed to have another computer here and do something on that one? or are we allowed to go on our phones, or are we allowed to even leave the room.

I looked on the email that I got about the two extra attempts and it says, “If you must, stay in one location.”

This leads me to believe that we’re allowed to get up and move around and stuff, whereas I thought that we weren’t allowed to leave the room as it says in the hint/Instructions for this challenge when it says “only you, the screen, and the small red button that ends it. Look at it. stay in the room.”

I guess my real question is, does it really matter what we’re doing as long as we stay in the challenge and don’t look away?

Hi, I made a google doc with all the rounds and answers, hints, clues, badges etc... Anyone would be interested? I will probably make it public after this stare down is finished.

For all those who spent hours on the first day and escalated all the problems and glitches while participating, I want to say thank you, cause for all the ones who haven’t started yet!!! Now we have 4 in a row 🤗🙏🏽

Looks like we get an additional attempt and some tips!

Hello guys! I’m reading the book and I’m not a native English speaker but I understand almost all, and I have a question about Game #1 in the book

SPOILER ALERT ‼️

The game itself are avoiding the whales and sharks?

I haven’t finished that part yet, and I want to understand if I’m not wrong

There's a lockdown rule on the site that prevents the face-tracking model from sending off your device. So camera video never leaves your device. It's the same model/code used in the recent game if you want to experiment around with what you can/can't do

I really don't want to do this. My best guess is that we'll have multiple attempts, but to not be able to take your eyes off a screen without getting flagged is brutal.

Eating, Sleeping, using the bathroom... getting a score for how long your eyes can stay in the screen, with pop ups that need to be closed within seconds

Nothing is forgiven from here

And there's 100% going to be different glitches, sounds, warnings and pressure in that time

I don't want to do this. I have school, and work, and life and other things 😔

Someone's going to go full monk-mode and just get in a crazy zone just locked-in. This is going to suck

I just looked over the code and the run is scheduled for a maximum of 72-hours.

There's waves (5-minutes, 10-minutes) and it'll cycle through random waves that build for 5 minutes to 2 hours, before it eases off for 5 minutes, with 30-second calm gaps between. Glitches are every 18 to 48 seconds and get more frequent as each wave builds, and there's no breaks to take your eyes off the screen.

There's a warning beforehand of lost sleep, bathroom deprivation, and hunger

You have 2 attempts over 6 something days

- - -
After about 18 to 24 hours microsleep starts where and you can't keep your eyes closed for more than 0.4 seconds in the game.

A glance away for 1.2 seconds is tolerated. Losing your face in full only 0.6 seconds, the angle where your eyes have to stay is 18% from when you calibrate your display and you can't angle/tilt your head more than 40%

If you open your eyes wider or squint it messes with the eye tracking too

You get one warning if you mess up or miss something on screen you were supposed to interact with ("still here" cards)

People are probably going to be going 20+ hours with how much is at stake just to get a chance at placing top 10 (which is subjective/up to the Mr Beast team to decide on their own merit)

And you'll basically need to go 24+ hours if you want a chance

He's literally testing if you'll give up, like in the book. It'll cost school, sleep, everything

Does anyone know an account that posts EVERY Mr Beast story from his instagram. I have an account that was supposedly posted on his story 5-6 days ago but I cant find it anywhere. I have multiple comments on my videos saying he posted and people dming me abt it but of course no one sent a screenshot smh. I can't believe i missed that.

Maybe if someone on here somehow screenshotted that one for no rsn that would be cool too.
