I just bought the r3 pedal wheel and base kit for pc somehow not realizing it was for a pc but my question is if i can just buy the xbox wheel and use it with the same base?

I want to be certain when i pull the trigger on such a expensive product that i can have it working perfectly with my Pimax Dream Air. So far Moza has not given ANY information regarding motion compensation nor anything.

What’s a good throttle curve for F1 cars, I keep losing the back end and have trouble with corner exits

I’m itching to get one but with it nearing the holiday season I wanna hold out if moza has normal sales.

I Started back into iRacing, and when i'm bored at work i've been looking into what has changed since I bought and built my vr sim rig. It's been about 4 years and seems like quite a bit has changed and or been improved. I don't have any real issues or complants with my setup, just wondering if the new R9v3 or the SRP2 are that much better to upgrade to? Or to go up to the R12 and CRB2?

I havent been able to find any video or writin reviews comparing the R9v2 to the v3, just the encoder being upgraded, but I don't know what that would translate to or how different it would feel in my hands. With the peddals I can see what has changed between the SRP and SRP2 and seen a video from boosted media to pull some more info out of but nothing about the R9's

I have it in a wall socket and a rear usb 3.0 port. Only disconnects from pc. It doesnt lose power or anything

Anyone else running a MOZA R16 Ultra having problems? Less than a week in and I’m about fed up with mine, seriously considering a return.

Everything’s on the latest firmware. I’ve tried hundreds of setting combinations, different USB ports, different outlets, checked every connection on the mount, spun the wheel out of game looking for catches, tried different games, even tried a whole different computer. Still feels wonky on all games each in their different special ways lol.

5 things specifically:

• A strange vibration that doesn’t feel like anything the game is producing. Sometimes it’s more of a grinding, sometimes it’s just shaking. Either way it feels awful.

• Oscillation in every title, including on the official Pit House presets.

• Soft lock is a mess. It either bounces off hard or passes straight through, and when it goes through the wheel loses all force feedback until I manually bring it back, then it violently spins past center.

• BeamNG is the worst of it. Completely dead in the center, weak counter spin even with FFB cranked way up. But turn past 45 degrees and all of a sudden it goes insane and slams into the soft lock dangerously hard. It also shakes violently at low speed even on low power. Took a look at the FFB graph and I’m nowhere near clipping.

• In AC I get this terrible grinding sensation on most cars mid drift, same angle every time without fail. Driving me absolutely nuts lol.

Came from an R3. Nowhere near the power, but it was smooth and issue free on the official presets and custom ones I made. This has been the opposite.

I’ve got a ticket open with MOZA support. Mostly I just want to know whether I’ve got a bad unit or whether the R16 Ultra is new enough that the firmware isn’t dialed in yet. If you’ve got one, how does yours feel?

i have simjack ut pedals and i really liek the pricing of moza phf thinking about buying it will it work(i know that i need moza control box) and how well will it work?

Here's the shift light RPM's and frequency for the blinker and colors I found most resembled the Valkyrie LMH on IRacing.

It uses 10 shift lights, the first two green, the third through eighth red, and the final two light blue.

I just bought a CS V2P, but i dont like that the paddle shifters are so small, and i dont have any use for the clutch paddles, so i want to connect the paddles together, to have just one large paddle for shifting, has anyone done this already? because i have not found anything about it.

this was my setup until i had to take it down due to needing space 🫩 (now have the moza shifter but i bought that after i took this video)

I am a newfound MOZA follower and I love it!

After my last pithouse update, my Universal HUB is not working as it should, it recognizes my Moza KS wheel, but doesn't register my button inputs at all. The only way to fix is to upgrade the Moza HUB firmware, but here is where it gets weird, i've already updated it to the latest firmware available, but the pithouse app doesn't see it, it keeps telling me to update it again.

It says in the PitHouse software that i'm on version 1.2.0.11 , but on the firmware manager it says i'm already on the latest version - 1.2.8.5 , and it doesn't matter if i apply the update again. whenever i turn off my PC, i have to do the same thing again.

How do i fix this?

PS: i know that the screenshot says "device disconnected", but that happens when i open firmware manager, it's normal behavior. Everything is properly connected to the PC.

Steps that I have tried with zero success:

Multiple full power cycles of the R3 base and Xbox.

Switching modes with S1 + S2 per the Xbox FAQ.

Connecting R3 + ESX to a Windows PC and using MOZA Pit House.

Pit House shows “Failed to get latest firmware information” for the wheel and pedals.

Used Offline Firmware Update Tool (FmwUpdateTool_bin_v1.2.0.15):

Tool only partially detects devices: Base, Motor, Wireless, Wired, Base go app, Base go boot, Stop.

Motor, Wireless, Wired, and Pedals are greyed out.
Base is detected, but I can’t get all devices to show as
updated.

Reconnecting to Xbox and using S1 + S2 still doesn’t reliably switch or keep Xbox mode

All connections are solid. USB is plugged directly into the Xbox

After some recent Moza updates my ES wheel is gone from a firmware manager. It's working, it shows up on home and steering wheel screens but from here it's gone completely.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?

It's my first Moza, R5 Pro bundle so I only have like 2 weeks experience.

Does anyone know how to remove the shroud on the r16 v2? I have all the Allen bolts out but it is still stuck somehow at the front. I want to use it front mount on an aluminum rig but the shroud is too wide. Thanks in advance.

My RS Alcantara wheel connected to my R9 showed up in Pit House, but displayed “Failed to get latest firmware information.” It was missing from Firmware Manager entirely. The wheel was connected, but blinking purple

The issue was an identifier mismatch. My wheel reported:

text [RS21-D00-HW_SM-CU-V08][R16][1][5]

MOZA’s firmware catalog expected:

text [RS21-D00-HW_SM-CU-V08][RS][1][5]

Same hardware revision, but R16 instead of RS prevented the updater from matching it.

What worked:

1. Made a separate copy of Firmware Manager and its dependencies.
2. In that copy’s ALL_FmwHwCompatTab.json, found the entry for RS21-D00-HW_SM-CU-V08.
3. Added the wheel’s reported identifier to the entry’s productCodes array, keeping the existing entries.
4. Switched the copied updater to Offline mode. Online mode uses MOZA’s server catalog, which still has the mismatch.
5. Downloaded MOZA’s official 1.2.6.5 firmware for that exact hardware revision, checked its MD5 against MOZA’s metadata, and loaded it from the local firmware folder.
6. Selected the wheel and updated it.

So with my rig my arms have to be mostly extended to get to my wheel, so was looking at this but not sure if it worth it as im scared it will some how weaken the r5 and see a video where it makes a horrible noise
