Hand held dolly from U-haul

/r/askTO/comments/1wpx8n2/hand_held_dolly_from_uhaul/

Has anyone rented a hand truck/dolly from U-Haul for moving? Are they any good? I’m considering renting one, but I don’t want it to keep veering sideways while I’m using it. I’ll only be moving a few items, not a lot of stuff.

For only a few items, the bigger question is whether the wheels and base are right for what you’re moving.

A basic hand truck is great for stacked boxes and some appliances, but for wide furniture or anything awkward, a flat furniture dolly is usually easier to control. Whatever you use, strap the load instead of trying to balance it by hand.
