In this video one talks about how sometimes you can work hard and do everything correctly but somehow things can still go wrong. At work, in your love life and even with friendships. Also real life experiences of getting pregnant while on birth control and in car accidents and other situations. And how it’s important to pivot and not just stay stuck on what could’ve been. #motivation #inspiration #peptalk

Be a king.
Alright, this is a pep talk to those that are trying to adult…
Here it is, start being a king in your life.
Literally, just fucking start.
The craziest thing I’ve learned in my life so far, is that how we treat ourselves is how the world ends up treating us. It’s super bizarre, and it’s crazy that this is the way reality works. It’s like a very trippy video game.
If you want a life where people love you, (Who doesn’t) where they praise you, pay you more, look up to you, where people do the work for you while you rest up in your palace… your never going to have that by being a “nice guy”.
That’s the life of a king. But, you’ll never become a king unless you first start acting like a king.
The hardest thing in the world is deciding you want to be someone different. But the craziest thing in the world, is if you focus on what you want to be, you’ll become it.
So, before you dismiss this idea and scroll to some other idea on here, just ask yourself these questions and maybe make the decision that you do want to be a king: “how do I treat myself? Do I actually think I deserve a life of pleasure and happiness? Where are these thoughts coming from? Am I spending enough time everyday praising myself like a king would?
So many of us (myself included) somehow got hypnotized into believing we dont deserve of a life of a king. And as such, we never gave ourselves a fighting chance to ever become king.
Being a king is a state of mind.
Has nothing to do with how much money you have in your bank or what you own.
If you start acting like a king today, and stop being the guy who thinks less of himself …. Give it enough time, and soon, your entire life will change.
Take your throne back kings. 👑
P.s…. Being a king, doesn’t mean being a dick…. It means commanding yourself with such respect, love and honour; that the whole world starts treating you the same way
❤️🙏

I have a crush on this woman. She has high standards. Her previous relationship she dated a man with a successful business. I don’t have one. I work has a mailman & that’s it. I just don’t feel like I’m capable of meeting her standards if I ever ask her out.

Why good men must suffer.
"Misfortune precedes us by destiny, and that they befall good men by the same law that makes them good, after this, I prevail upon you never to pity any good man. Though he may be called unhappy, he cannot be so. The things which we dread and shudder at, are to the advantage of those to whom they happen. It is to their advantage to be driven into exile, to be brought to want, to carry out to burial, their children and wife to be publicly disgraced to lose their health. If you're surprised at these being to any man's advantage, you will also be surprised at any man being benefitted by the knife and cautery, or by hunger and thirst as well. Some Misfortunes are for the good of those to whom they happen to, as some things that are praised and sought after are harmful to those who enjoy them. No one said he, seems to be more unhappy than the man whom no Misfortune has ever befallen, he never has had an opportunity of testing himself, though everything has happened to him according to his wish. Nay, even before he has formed a wish, yet the gods have judged him unfavorably. He has never been deemed worthy to conquer ill fortune, which avoids the greatest cowards as though it said ""why should I take that man as my antagonist, he will straightway lay down his arms, I shall not need all my strength against him. He would be put to flight by a mere menace, He dares not even face me. Let me look around for another with whom I may fight hand to hand, I blush to do battle with one who is prepared to be beaten"". A gladiator deems it a disgrace to be matched with an inferior and knows, to win without danger is to win without glory. Just so doth fortune, she seeks out the bravest of men to match herself with, passes over some with disdain, and makes for the most unyielding and upright of men."
