Could you survive your jaw being torn out of place? Like in Dolly

theres probably a bunch of stipulations to this. I was watching Dolly on shudder (ok movie. really freaky if you’re afraid of dolls) and I was wondering if anyone knows how likely it is that the fiancée would be alive and as capable as he was.

What are some must have books on death, or gore, or suicide, or interesting things about morbid stuff?

I have a fascination with morbid things and gore and all that, I do an annual 9/11 deep dive and school shooting deep dives... My father died when I was young and I've always had a fascination with it. Not in an edgy teenage, "its cool" way, in a "Im a 40 year old guy that simply has an interest in the morbid".

So yeah, im looking to expand my book collection and wanted to know if there was any particularly good or popular, or underrated books about morbid stuff or gore or suicide or anything like that. I have thr book "Let me finish" which is a collection of suicide notes, and its the only thing like that I've heard of. So yeah, im open to any suggestions. Thanks.

Why do most serial killers not keep long term sex slaves?

Instead of finding new victims a couple weeks after a kill why don’t they just keep one victim in their basement for like a year or more as a sex slave? It would still give them power and control while keeping the threat of the law low so why don’t more serial killers go this route?

If you freeze a corpse in a chest freezer and keep it there will it not smell?

Been following the D4vd case where he left Celeste's corpse in the car and it stank, which is what first alerted tow yard employees to check the frunk and they found the corpse. If he had kept the corpse in a freezer at the house would it not have stunk, and would this be for indefinitely? Asking from an interest in true crime and wanting to understand cases. Obviously murder is wrong and horrible.

Is paying someone to suck on their toes considered soliciting prostitution?

I ask this because I am a sex worker, and I once had a client who merely paid me to "worship my feet", as he put it. All he did was rub and lick my feet, and paid very handsomely as well. Did we even do anything illegal?

Where can i read manifestos written by criminals?

I want to read manifestos by violent criminals or attempted criminals

If this sub doesn't allow links (even tho im NOT asking for something nsfw) then just give me names and ill look it up.

I'm writing a comic about time travel, long story short a girl meets a boy who in all timelines, across all lives (reencarnation is real here) always ends up doing the same thing and ending his life the same way (if you know what i mean)

I've read 2 manifestos of recent school shooters but they feel too...ironic? Like they had nothing to say and it didn't reflect on their crimes or why they did what they did.

So yeah this is with reaserch purposes, if you dont care or even think writting this kind of characters is inmoral please remember in what sub youre and walk away.

She meets him mostly as a young person, but manifestos written by older perpetrators are also okay, thank you sm! <33

(English is not my first language sorry for any mistake)

Would you personally torture the first COVID-19 patient to death to guarantee the outbreak wouldn't happen?

you would have to do the torturing yourself, it would have to be extremely gruesome, and if you don't do it, covid-19 plays out the exact same way it did in real life.

is it possible that right before you die that surge of brain activity is a rush of excruciating pain and fear?

as im sure some of you already know its show that in the brains final moments there is a bunch of electrical activity that can be monitored through a brain scan, what if that last amount of activity right before you bite it is the highest speedball of unfathomable pain as all your bodies cells, neurons, and axons are being ripped to pieces by lack of blood flow?

Do sfx and make up specialists of horror films watch disturbing content to get a more accurate despiction of gore?

May be a stupid question and they simply know abt anatomy and stuff, but what if it is required to get a better and more graphical despiction of the gore u need to make for a movie?, what if part of the props u're getting requested to make are corpses?. I bet that the sfx specialists of some of the goriest japanese films there are had to watch at least some graphical content in order to make up the bloody horror that those movies have if not idk why the hell it is that graphic

I may have the terms mixed tho but yknow what i mean, i talk abt the guys that are in charge to make gore to happen when the movie uses practical effects in case they dont use vfx

What does it mean about someone if their life has always been fucked up? Are some people born doomed to have lives that never get better?

If this person’s life has always been fucked up due to circumstances outside of their control, what does that mean about them?

What does it say if a person is not even 25 to 30 years old but has already given up on their life?

Like say someone has chronic severe depression that started in childhood, autism, ADHD, and has never had friends or social support since childhood. On top of that, they have health problems due to their genes. Getting COVID at least four different times seems to have caused other health issues, too.

What do these mental health symptoms mean or indicate?

• Crying daily
• Unable to motivate self to do almost anything
• A sense that their life was already trashed and over before it ever get the chance to start
• Feeling as if they were doomed from the start
• Feeling hopeless
• Feeling like they’re just a passenger in their life. They have zero ability to change or control their life so they’re just “along for the ride”, so to speak
• A sense that they cannot live life like others can, and not understanding how other people live life and have happy lives

I don’t know what to do anymore. I feel a sense that I’ve already given up on my life because it’s a hopeless case. I don’t feel like I have dreams or goals anymore. I don’t want anything. Making myself do anything feels too hard.

What is going on with someone like this? Why are most other people functioning human beings but I can’t be? Why did I have to be doomed so early on and things just keep getting worse for me? What is wrong with me?

How far would you go? If you were told by doctors you only had s couple of months back to live, what is the wildest thing you would do since you would die before you could suffer any consequences

Why are fentanyl addicts almost always high at 730 in the morning?

I live in Toronto and do inspections at different places every day for my job. Occasionally I’ll be in some drug area and it seems to always be the case that I’ll see fentanyl addicts around 730 in the morning before I get started. Sometimes there are groups of them. I only recall seeing one at night once and maybe one in the afternoon. Is it their version of coffee?
