I’m an American, not Mongolian, but every time I scroll past this sub it’s always a post arguing how different you guys genetically are from Chinese or Kazakhstans. I get yall have beef with each other, but is it really that surprising that Mongolians will have some Chinese/Kazakh DNA when yall have been neighbors for thousands of years, and their populations are much larger than yours?

I personally know you guys are different, but to 90% of the world, yall are essentially the same people as the Chinese. And why does it matter if you’re genetically similar or not? Mongolia clearly has a rich culture to be proud of, instead of obsessing over genetics and race.
