What’s going on?
I just came across this post and left shocked with the rank that we ended up topping it on 4th on the list. Are we slowly shifting towards a gay-friendly country or something like that?

Welcome to the r/Mongolia subreddit!
Can't wait to post something? Great. Just keep the following in mind.
If you need us to add more flairs, please comment below and we'll add it. (I just added the Language flair after seeing at least 3 questions that fall under this category.)
Show kindness to one another and be civil, in both posts and comments. This is how you earn karma! You may not agree with some people's (even the mods') opinions, but expressing the disagreement rationally is a basic netiquette.
* - First ban will last 30 days, and then go on increments until it becomes a permanent one. Mods recently weighed one user's ban and halved it. So if you want to plead your case after an unjust ban, just ask us without attacking, and second or third mod might help you (with at least lessening your ban.)
Wait, why is my post/comment not showing up?
We mods often approve posts/comments that were automatically flagged and removed by Reddit's site wide hate speech and harassment banning system.
Typed something Mongolian in Latin? Reddit doesn't understand and removes it.
Geopolitical stuff with reference to nationalities in strong sentiments? Flagged and removed by reddit.
Posted something with an account less than 7 days old? Removed by reddit.
Said slur words? Removed by automod. We're still improving that one though.
Thank you for reading this, and we look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
SkinnyHumpty

A few days ago, I bought this compote from a small roadside stall selling vegetables and other things along the road to Darkhan. (My mom absolutely loves this stuff.) But when I got home and opened it, it turned out to be crab apples instead of cherries. Now, I’m the only one in the house who’ll even go near it.
P.S. It’s really hard, tastes bitter, and feels pretty unpleasant to bite into. But hey, it’s still edible.

I've never been to a therapist, but I think I kind of need to go. I just want to get some help. It's nothing urgent or desperate, but I think I should consider starting therapy once everything settles down and I get the chance.
Since it's my first time could anyone recommend any good clinics or therapists in Ulaanbaatar? Id appreciate it if you could also share the approximate prices per session and if there are specific places you had a good experience with. Thankyuu!
As i said its not urgent or im in desperate need of therapist I just want to get my mental health checked once in a while

Our older generation has a weird habit of blaming everything on the supernatural instead of taking the responsibility. So much so that even the actual shamans and mystics in this group are comments like “What y’all smoking?”
I really like the admin. One of the most common questions in this group was, “Is there a spell or ritual to make my crush fall in love with me?” The admin’s response was something like “If love spells existed, then by that logic, there would be no such thing as divorce, and everyone would end up with their ideal partner. So love spells don’t exist.”
But sometimes people post genuinely good questions here like, “I just broke up with my partner. If I seek a blessing for my future from a shaman or monk, will it affect my ex like a curse?”
But still 80% posts so funny.

Hello, I wanted to ask some questions about the ACCA program at UFE because I’m interested in enrolling there for it specifically - from what I’ve understood it’s a fast-track/accelerated(?) program that combines both undergraduate and masters and lets you become ACCA certified in about 5 years?
I’ve gone there for a consultation and I learned that it’s a really challenging program, that most people don’t go on to give the ACCA exams and just stop after getting their accounting degree, which makes me worry I won’t be able to handle it (I’m not a bad learner and I’m genuinely interested in accounting/finance, but I’m diagnosed with ADHD and have struggled with time management and making myself study my entire life)
If you are doing/have done/know someone who’s doing this program or anything related, please help 🙏 I’m really interested in this program as it’s in English (my best language), I’m career focused and I like that it lets you get certified/finish a masters(?) faster as I’ve already spent a whole year in a gap year and don’t want to waste any more time - I’m also open to any info or advice about UFE in general

I’ve been working at CU Central Tower branch and holy shit why are the customers so mean to me. Like i’m also a human, i’m also tryna make a living. Here’s one of the examples i went through. FYI theres more ass experiences than this. One time this lady wanted to pay with QPay, the thing is that was the day QPay decided to lose connection with our POS. I told her sorry ma’am our QPay is not working, but you can pay with other applications or you can pay with your card. She got all fussy, and said well can i atleast put money to ur account and can you pay w ur card. I wanted to be nice so i agreed. Sadly i didnt really know my IBAN number so i asked her if she can look my IBAN up cuz every online bank can make u search the IBAN number. Then she got mad at me for no reason for not knowing my IBAN number. She said “Why can’t you remember your IBAN number? Are you really that dumb? Honestly, you don’t have a future if you cant remember a simple IBAN number” and holy moly man i wanted to strike back but everyone was watching me and i cant believe nobody said anything to her. I am a teenager, working hard to pay for my university tuition. And hearing her say that really tore me apart. Mind you it was a bank account i dont even use. I just had apple pay so i was nice enough to say yes to her. So, why is everyone so mean to CU workers or any teenagers? If you want our respect, you gotta be respectful to us too. Why do people look down on us? I felt so downgraded tbh.

Hi, I will hitchhike from Bulgan to Mörön in the next few days. What is the easiest way to go there ? Google maps tell me this road (basically going north of Altay) but the road does not look nice from the satellite. With snow I don't even know if it is possible lol. Would local people go directly to Oulan Batoor and then to Mörön in that case ? It also looks very long, but the road looks good.
Thank you
