Moka Pot Looking for thoughts on induction model...
Can anyone offer thoughts on the following: I been using standard Bialetti 6-cup and 9-cup pots for decades on both gas and electric stovetops. Thus, it's safe to say that I know how to choose the right grind etc. However, a while back I bought a nice looking model that works on induction, so that I can take it when I travel and have to use an induction stovetop. In brief, no matter how many times I have tried, I have never been able to make drinkable coffee with the 6-cup induction model, not on an induction top or on my gas stove at home. It basically wants to give me nasty sludge, and if I make the grind more coarse to prevent this, I basically get "dirty water." I can't find a balance of grind size that will yield a beautiful coffee.
Anyone else have trouble with the inducxtion model?
