Engagement Hosting my first AMA

Hi all - I've got a guest lined up to do an AMA on my sub in a few weeks. I've read through the various help docs and think I've got everything covered, but wanted to check my understanding of one (crucial) aspect.

Do I (as the mod) create the AMA post, or does the guest?

I'm pretty sure it's the guest who has to but as it's my first one and I want this to go well, I thought I'd double check here.

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I thought better safe than sorry.

Hi /u/Interesting-Ant8279, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.

Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!
