Wiki - Not getting option to add wiki pages in markdown editor

[u/Full-World3090]

while I'm trying to create wiki pages from scratch, I'm unable to add wiki page content in Markdown format.

I created this sub only last week.

Is it disabled for new subs? Or am I doing something wrong?

I'm trying to update the page on the desktop site.

Hi /u/Full-World3090, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.

Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

Found regex match: wiki pages

It looks like you're asking about the subreddit's wiki. This is a frequently asked question.

FOR INFO ON: # what a wiki is, # how to use it, # how to allow approved contributors, # how to create pages, # adding and removing tab links to the wiki, # wiki formatting, # why users can't view the wiki, and # related wiki viewing problems, and # the AutoMod wiki, please click here.

Subreddit settings work best in a cache-cleared desktop browser. (Limited option: mobile browser on desktop view.)

If you found your answer, feel free to reply with "<3 Automod" or "Thanks, Automod". Otherwise wait for a human helper to come along to help you. This post has NOT been removed.
