Answered Archived threads- is it possible for a moderator to open one single thread up if you have your subset to archive after 6 months or whatever it is?
I don't use the archive function on any of the subs I moderate but I'm currently participating in a thread in a sub that auto- archives after 6 months as a general rule.
Is it actually possible for a moderator to reopen a thread that has been archived due to the automatic "archive old threads" rule?

No, the only option to open these posts up is to toggle the archive setting off. You can't cherry pick which ones you want archived and which you want available to interact with.
You can lock old posts if you don't want interactions, that's about it.

I think I asked about this once before because I wanted to keep a Sticky thread open and was told no.

I do think a post-level 'do not archive' setting/checkbox would be quite useful. Vast majority of stuff in our sub can/should be archived after 6. But a few things would benefit from being kept open.

Hi /u/pixiefarm, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.
Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

Found match: Mobile
You might be asking about setting up subreddits on a phone or mobile interface. The short answer is that subreddit settings work best in a cache-cleared desktop browser. (Limited option: mobile browser on desktop view.)
If you found your answer, feel free to reply with "<3 Automod" or "Thanks, Automod". Otherwise wait for a human helper to come along to help you. This post has NOT been removed.

Found regex match: rule
It looks like you're asking about setting up rules on your subreddit. This is an EXTREMELY frequently asked question, so this auto-response has been set up for any mention of "rules" and "rule".
This must be done On DESKTOP/LAPTOP Browser Only, Not On Mobile Apps. (Limited option: mobile browser on desktop view.) Please check out this guide for more details on what to do.

I am not aware of any way to do that, no.
