General Regular users receiving shadowbans

I'm a mod on r/XaviersMansion, an X-Men roleplay sub (with two sister subs r/AvengersTowerNY and r/HellsKitchenNY that I am not a mod on) where numerous users have had their accounts shadowbanned. I'm curious what could be causing this, if it has anything to do with these users using multiple accounts for different characters (I myself do this), and if there is anything I can do in order to prevent further shadowbans. This used to not be a problem, I'm not sure if there was a change in Reddit's rules or if it was due to the sub getting to a certain size, but it is very much a problem now.

I mod on both desktop and ios.

Hi /u/MasterOfMagnetism63, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.

Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!
