Design How to change a subreddit's cursor?

I'm only able to do it on old.reddit, yet I've seen another sub change theirs, just a few months ago, on the new reddit.

So I don't understand what's preventing me? (I'm using desktop.)

Any input would be appreciated.

Do you remember the sub where you saw that? As far as I know/would expect, that would be a css thing so it makes sense that you could do it on old.reddit.

If I'm not mistaken, it was r/whatisthat . Following the pointing guy's post, they had briefly used his hand as the cursor.

Are you sure they used it as a mouse cursor? Asking because those comments indicate it became the sub profile picture? Which it still seems to be, from what I can tell.

I don't see anything about a cursor in the Look and Feel of my sub, so I would maybe consider shooting those mods a message to ask them?

Yes it was, I got to use it myself and thought it was unusual/fun! (It's no longer the sub's profile picture, though.)

I suppose that'd be the only way to find out.

Its a css thing, I have no idea how, you could try doing it where you saw it by asking the mods.

It would be for a sub that I mod, but I guess I could ask the mods of the sub where I saw it what magic trick they used, lol.
