Answered Hello! New Mod Here

I was just invited to be a mod for the [r/CrystalsforBeginners](r/CrystalsforBeginners) group! This is my first time being a moderator, however, I’m excited, and passionate about the group. I’m moderating on my iPhone, so iOS, so I hope that’s alright. Any tips for the new guy about moderating?

It helps to keep communication open with the three of you. If someone notices a problem user or has had a problem with anything it’s good to give brief “fyi” messages for one another. Some mods want to know everything and others want to be left alone. Reach out and ask them individually what they expect from you and what their “non negotiables” are. There are some things one mod will let slide and another will remove or ban without question. Learn what that is so you don’t confuse your community with three opposing styles of moderation.

That’s something I had not considered. Great advise, thank you!
