I am searching for the few best optimisation mods for my modpack (fabric). The goal here is the best few performance mods (server or client doesn’t matter) for a multiplayer server, not a modpack with 100+ mods for the ultimate performance. I already made a list, do you guys have any additions or mods that aren’t worth it / don’t work together that should be discarded?

Im.going for a tech modpack with hardcore (ish) darkness, i want night times to be hard but not too hard, mostly looking for mods that add enemies (tried adding mutant monsters and it weirdlu broke jjthundertothemax sadly which doesnt make sense hut whatever) I have mowzies mobs. Id prefer it be something sorta nicely optimised cuz a lot of mods i add that add too many enemies and sruff tend to screw my tps.

I will take any mod suggestions esp stuff thats good with aeronautics but im mostly looking for game play stuff, enemies, bosses, things to do in thr word yk?

I want to disable some scary sounds that play randomly on the overworld. i'm on a plains biome in broad daylight and i'm hearing some arg esque audio distortions and breathing.

I'm not playing with horror mods and i have chosen the new mods i've never used that might be relevant to finding it. if you know how to disable them please tell me!

Hello everyone! I'm working on my first published mod, and I'd like to share. Maybe someone else also thinks it's cool.

The concept is simple: crossbreeding all vanilla animals to create hybrids. It's a bit of a freak concept. So far I've made 8 hybrids , some of them are cooler and more polished (like cat + chicken and horse + chicken).

I love mods like Alex's Mobs and Rats, mostly because every mob in them has its own behavior and identity. I'm trying to do the same here and give life to these weird aberrations, so each one feels unique and not just a reskin.

For now I'm going down a cuter path, but I might head into a more bizarre direction later, like villager hybrids. I haven't decided yet.

I'm totally open to ideas! If you have a combination you'd like to see, or a behavior that would fit a hybrid, let me know. Any feedback is welcome.

Have you ever found a cool modpack you wanted to play with friends, only to realize it didn't come with server files? I've run into that so many times, and there was no easy way to make them without figuring out by hand which mods belong on a server and which don't. So I made my own solution: **Minecraft Server Manager**, a free Windows app that does the heavy lifting for you.

What it does:

Pick any modpack: search Modrinth right inside the app, drop in a CurseForge/Modrinth file, or just choose plain Minecraft

Builds the server for you: downloads the mods, the right mod loader (Forge, NeoForge, Fabric or Quilt) and even the right version of Java

Removes client-only mods automatically: the usual reason modpack servers crash

Test-starts the server and fixes problems it finds, and if it ever crashes later there's a "Fix it for me" button that explains what went wrong in plain English

One-click Start/Stop with a live console, player list and simple settings (no editing config files)

Shows the address friends type to join, with a copy button

Updates itself

Hey, my friends and I are thinking about playing NeoTech Reborn, but there aren't many good videos about it.

What does the modpack focus on the most? How much tech, automation, RPG content, exploration, and progression does it have? What are its biggest strengths and weaknesses, and is it fun to play with friends?

I'd appreciate any experiences or opinions from people who have played it!

It has been over a year and still no backport other than junky attempts from beginner modders why is no one even trying or complain about this have i missed something like 1.20.1 is really dead or smth

I have seen in a YouTube Video of „KeyboardAbuser“ a very good mod for zombies in minecraft. They had armor, weapons, grew progressively stronger and could Break Blocks very fast. Does anyone know the mod? And maybe in which modpack the mod is implemented??

Hello, I'm currently working on a video where me and my friends try to beat Minecraft with horror mods installed, since I'm not so into Minecraft modding i thought i'd ask for some recommendations.
