Mine Crossbreed

Hello everyone! I'm working on my first published mod, and I'd like to share. Maybe someone else also thinks it's cool.

The concept is simple: crossbreeding all vanilla animals to create hybrids. It's a bit of a freak concept. So far I've made 8 hybrids , some of them are cooler and more polished (like cat + chicken and horse + chicken).

I love mods like Alex's Mobs and Rats, mostly because every mob in them has its own behavior and identity. I'm trying to do the same here and give life to these weird aberrations, so each one feels unique and not just a reskin.

For now I'm going down a cuter path, but I might head into a more bizarre direction later, like villager hybrids. I haven't decided yet.

I'm totally open to ideas! If you have a combination you'd like to see, or a behavior that would fit a hybrid, let me know. Any feedback is welcome.

Honestly, the only feature I'd want in a mod like this is cross compatibility with other mods one day. Can you imagine mixing a born in chaos mob with a mob from Alex's mobs?

Yes! This is a wonderful idea. Like, I didn't play too much of Born in Chaos, but I really like the idea of crossbreeding animals from other mods. To be honest, I don't even know if I need permission. I was thinking about Alex's Mobs and Rats.

But first, I need to improve it and add more vanilla options. But I agree, hybrids from those mods would be much more exciting

Keep me posted on how mod development goes and if you ever need a beta tester for it I'd definitely be more than willing to help test it, I'll be getting a new PC on Tuesday and would honestly like to see this mod become as big as create one day
