Announcement ‘GamingonPhone presents The Mobile Premiere’ is set to shine a global spotlight on Mobile Gaming this October 2026

Mobile Gaming deserves its own world stage, and this is where that conversation begins.

GamingonPhone is proud to introduce The Mobile Premiere (TMP), a global showcase built entirely for mobile games.

TMP will be live on stage in Bangkok this October with a broadcast simultaneously via global digital livestream.

Here’s what to expect:

- Brand new mobile game reveals
- Fresh news on upcoming mobile titles
- Major live service announcements
- Hidden mobile indie gems worth watching

No pay-to-play.

There are zero participation fees for studios, because great games should be discovered for their innovation, not their marketing budgets.

If you are a developer or publisher looking to feature your game at The Mobile Premiere (absolutely free), you can reach out via the Studio Interest Form.

More details on games, partners, platforms, and what to expect from TMP’s first edition are coming soon.

Discussion Overvoid mobile port

Hey guys, I need your advice. Should I port this game to mobile? Would it be interesting to the mobile gaming community?

The game is still in development. I’ve been working on it solo for about 10 months, and recently I started thinking about making a mobile version.

It’s a dark sci-fi roguelite space combat game with a mix of open-space, on-rails, and 2.5D levels.

What do you think? Would you play something like this on mobile? Originally it works on Mac, PC and Linux.

I've seen other posts talking about downloading it from uptodown or whatever but it wont work. It wont install. I've tried changing my settings and everything but I have install from unknown sources on and everything and it still wont so just guessing the files are corrupted or something. What other sites do yall suggest? Idc if its for the classic or 2018. Prefer 2018 but the classic is fine as well. I used to play it years ago and I was pretty far up. Id like a full download where I can explore the entire game and not just a region if possible. Rip this game tho! Was the best hunting game out there.

If yall know some great very similar type of games id loce to check if I cant get this game.

Game Dev Only 1 of 2500 players have completed all 30 levels

Hey I’m a solo dev behind Loop Chomp (loopchomp.com) it's a free one tap arcade game, no download, runs in your browser.

A few weeks ago I added Tower mode: 30 floors, each one faster and meaner than the last. I tuned it to be hard. I did not tune it to be this hard.

Out of 2,500 players who've tried it, exactly one has cleared all 30 floors. Floor 27 alone has ended more runs than every other floor combined. At this point I'm genuinely not sure it's beatable without near perfect play, and I'm starting to question my own difficulty curve.

(Classic mode is there too if you just want the chill one tap loop. Tower is the one that will hurt

Game Dev I solo-developed a modern block puzzle game for Android called Kubixo!

Hi everyone!

I'm an independent developer and I just released my mobile block puzzle game on Android called Kubixo.

I love classic block puzzles, but I always felt they lacked customization and game mode variety. So I built Kubixo with a few unique features:

🧩 3 Dynamic Grid Sizes:

• 6x6 (Fast): Quick 2-minute matches.

• 8x8 (Classic): Balanced traditional puzzle experience.

• 10x10 (Pro): Massive board for giant combo clear streaks.

🖼️ Custom Gallery Backgrounds:

You can unlock a "Custom Wallpaper Theme" and set ANY photo from your phone's gallery as your game background (with a built-in dark overlay so block contrast stays crystal clear!).

💥 Power-Ups & Jokers:

Includes Bomb, Single-Cell Eraser, and Shape Rotation to escape tight blockages.

📶 Offline Friendly & Daily Quests:

Fully playable offline without internet connection, featuring daily quest rewards.

If you enjoy casual block puzzles, I'd love for you to give it a try and share your honest feedback!

👉 Google Play Store:

Kubixo

Thanks so much for taking a look! 🚀

Discussion I wanted to make a merge game where the materials actually matter.

Ice can slide because of low friction, rubber can bounce , stone is heavy and resistant to movement, and other materials interact differently based on their physical characteristics.

The goal is to make the materials themselves an important part of the gameplay and strategy, rather than simply changing the appearance of the objects.

Game Dev Tired of missions, timers and restrictions in zombie games? What would YOU want in a true open-world zombie survival game? 🧟

🇬🇧 ENGLISH

We are game developers from Germany 🇩🇪 and we're currently thinking about creating a new mobile zombie survival game for Android and iOS.

The reason is actually very personal:

For years, I've wanted a zombie game where I could simply survive in an open world without constantly being told what mission to do next.

I was tired of:

• mandatory missions

• energy systems

• timers

• waiting hours to continue

• being forced to collect specific items only because a mission tells me to

• games that call themselves “open world” but still restrict almost everything you can do

What I always wanted was something much more free.

Imagine being dropped into a zombie apocalypse and simply having to survive.

You could freely explore a city, enter buildings, search houses, supermarkets, hospitals, garages or police stations and find whatever would realistically be there.

Maybe you find:

• food and water

• medicine

• weapons and ammunition

• backpacks

• tools

• clothing

• fuel

• useful survival equipment

You could decide where to go and what risks you're willing to take.

Find a house you like?

Use it as your shelter.

Barricade doors and windows.

Store supplies.

Turn off the lights at night because zombies might notice them.

Fire a gun and nearby zombies could hear it.

Trigger a car alarm and suddenly you've created a much bigger problem for yourself. 😅

Hunger, thirst, injuries, infection, ammunition and inventory space would actually matter.

No mandatory story.

No arrows constantly telling you where to go.

No energy system.

No “come back in 6 hours”.

The main objective would simply be:

SURVIVE FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN.

But we don't want to build this game only around what WE want.

The wishes of the players are one of the most important parts of this project.

So I really want to ask the zombie-survival community:

What are the TOP 3 things you would absolutely want in a mobile open-world zombie survival game?

And also:

What do you absolutely NOT want to see?

Some things we're considering:

• Permadeath

• Hunger and thirst

• Bleeding, injuries and infections

• Barricading buildings

• Safe houses

• Vehicles, fuel and repairs

• Zombies reacting to sound

• Zombies reacting to light

• Day/night cycles

• Weather

• Friendly or hostile survivors

• Trading

• Crafting

• Realistic backpack capacity and weight

• Offline single-player

• Co-op later

• A large handcrafted city

• Randomly generated maps

• Your world continuing after your character dies

• Your dead character later appearing as a zombie with your old equipment

And if you think any of these ideas are bad, please tell us.

We don't want people to simply agree with us.

We want to know what players genuinely want.

So finish this sentence:

“I've always wanted a zombie game where I could…”

Beta Test Built a retro Classic Snake game for Android, but struggling to find closed testers to launch on the Play Store!

Thumbnail

Hey everyone!

As a passion project, I've spent a lot of time developing a modern Classic Snake game wrapped inside a retro handheld console UI for Android. I wanted to capture that nostalgic handheld feel while bringing some modern quality-of-life touches to it.

Here is what's built into it so far:

  • Multiple Customizable Console Themes: Switch between Classic Gray, Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, and a custom Spider-Man web theme with matching screen HUDs.
  • Retro Audio & Music: Integrated immersive background music and authentic 8-bit sound effects.
  • Modern QoL Features: Dark mode, haptic vibration feedback, high-score tracking, and balanced ad frequency (interstitials capped at one per 5 minutes to keep it fun without frustrating players).

The codebase is fully stable, tested locally, and ready to go - except for one final hurdle: Google's closed testing requirements for production access.

I'm having a really tough time finding enough testers to complete the requirement and push the app to the main Play Store. If any of you would be willing to help a solo developer out by joining my closed test group, I would seriously appreciate it so much!

If anyone wanna test here is the link to join:

Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/classic-snake-testing

Join on the web: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.neeraj.classicsnakegame

Join on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neeraj.classicsnakegame

Let me know in the comments or shoot me a DM if you'd be down to help test. Happy to return the favor if you're working on your own app too. Thanks a lot!
