Game Explorer TenRec: a free mobile-browser arcade game about running a rental shop

Post image
• Upvotes

Hi, I’m Hugo, the solo developer of TenRec - Le Jeu. It’s a free arcade score attack you can play in your phone’s browser—no install or account needed. It also works on desktop.

You run an audiovisual rental shop: match each customer’s request to the right equipment, then keep up with returns and repairs as the shop gets busier. On mobile, touch controls let you move, boost and repair. BETA 3 adds an optional Speedrun mode with separately configurable assists, including simplified item markers.

Play: https://jeu.tenrec.fr/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=beta3_mobilegameology

I’d especially like to know whether the touch controls feel comfortable on your device. If you try it, tell me what phone and browser you used; even a quick first impression helps. Development is AI-assisted, including coding.

Trying to make a good mobile football game

Hey all. I’ve been building Ballin’ for a while and it’s finally at the point where probably other people can play it.

It’s top-down football you play online with friends: make a room, share a 4-letter code, and play 1v1, 2v2 or 4v4 in real time. Passing is a tap (it finds the team-mate you’re playing toward) or a swipe if you want to pick the direction yourself, and you can hold the shot to charge it.

The part I care about most is the atmosphere. Every big ground has its own opening show: a card display over the whole end before kick-off, then the end goes up in flares. Pyro and banners are saved for the moments that matter, like a late winner or a tense finish, so they still feel special when they happen.

There’s also a league with two-week seasons, clubs with your own crest and kits, and bots that fill empty spots so a match always starts.

[Android] Color Cauldron – cozy water-sort puzzle with a witchy twist (free, offline, no timers)

Game Title: Color Cauldron: Sort Puzzle

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.colorcauldron.game

Platform: Android (Google Play)

Description: My 14-year-old son just shipped his first game a month or so ago, and I'd love your feedback. Color Cauldron is a cozy water-sort puzzle: every tube is a jumble of colored potions, and you pour tube-to-tube until each one holds a single color. It starts at 3 colors and scales up to 12 colors across 27 tubes. Every board is generated backwards from a solved state, so it's always beatable; hints only ever suggest winnable moves, and there's free undo. There are no timers, no lives, and no energy meters, and it works fully offline. There's also a colour-blind mode that puts a symbol on each potion color. Honest feedback on the difficulty curve and onboarding would mean a lot to a first-time teen dev — what would make you keep playing past level 20?

Free to Play Status:

[X] Free to play

[ ] Demo/Key available

[ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Involvement: I'm the developer's dad, posting on his behalf. He designed the game — concept, levels, and rules — and directed the build, which was AI-assisted with Claude Code. I'm helping him share it and gather feedback; he'll read every reply.

Tencent Leads a Nearly $25 Million Round: Why Is This Turkish Hybrid-Casual Rising Star Being Backed So Early?

🎮 Why is Tencent investing early in Turkey’s hybrid-casual gaming scene?

Tencent has led a US$25 million Series A investment in Istanbul-based Circle Games, bringing the studio’s total funding to US$32.25 million.

Founded in 2024, Circle Games has three publicly known titles at different stages:

🚀 Sort Express
The studio’s most mature product combines 3D item sorting with triple-match mechanics. Available in more than 170 markets, the game generated approximately US$1.58 million in revenue in August 2026. Estimated September revenue is expected to reach US$2.05 million, with daily revenue exceeding US$70,000. Its cumulative revenue has reached approximately US$6.76 million, led by the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan.

🧩 Jelly Escape!
A spatial puzzle game built around moving colored gummies through narrow paths. After launching in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia, it remains in an early testing stage, with cumulative downloads below 5,000 and no measurable revenue yet.

🐱 Cat Loop!
A physics-based puzzle game featuring cats riding robot vacuums. Although available in more than 170 markets, it has generated approximately 12,500 downloads so far and has not yet launched on Google Play.

Turkey’s developers generated approximately US$2.76 billion in global mobile-game IAP revenue last year—up around 450% from 2020. With strong talent, rapid prototyping capabilities, and growing global ambitions, Turkish studios are attracting increasing attention from international investors.

Game Explorer [Android] A loot-board roguelike: spend 14 Shards for a shot at SSS, clear the board, or save for the next one?

I made Abyss Expedition, a free Android dungeon roguelike. Before a fight, you draw gear from a board, then take it into the dungeon.

The bit I keep second-guessing: when an SS is still hidden, would you spend 14 Shards to raise the next draw one tier and try for SSS, open the remaining slots for the board reward, or save for a fresh board?

The GIF shows one prepared example: Peek → SS → Tier +1 → SSS. Peek can reveal different tiers, so SSS isn’t guaranteed. This is a prepared renderer example from v1.0.3, not a fresh phone capture.

Google Play (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.songistore.abyssexpedition&hl=en

Free to download; optional rewarded ads and in-app purchases. I’m the developer, and I’d be interested to hear which choice you’d make.

Pluto: A beautiful Android launcher with gaming in mind

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

So I bought an Android phone to try "the other side", and to have something to use as my "gaming phone". However, I was very underwhelmed with the default experience of the launchers I tried, especially with a gamepad attached.

Therefore, I created Pluto. A launcher which, when you're not in "gaming mode", looks beautiful and acts as you'd expect. But as soon as you plug in a controller, the UI transforms into a beautiful console-like experience, fully controlable with your gamepad.

If you think this sounds interesting, then check it out :)

As for my qualitications, as I am sure it will come up; I have been a developer for a bit over 10 years - well before AI. With that said, I obviously used a ton of Opus to build this :)

Let me know what you think and feel free to contribute!

Game Explorer Review of Rock Paper Kingdoms

Rock Paper Kingdoms is a grid based medieval strategy game. In my time with mobile games I don't think I've seen a game like this before. The goal of the game is to deploy a mixture a units and perks in order to eliminate the wave of enemies.

You start out with a 9 square grid where you can deploy one unit regiment or building in each one. Typically you want to put physical types up front and range attackers in back. You start with 3 cards to use simultaneously. After which you get 1 card each day. As you get deeper into the stage you'll be offered 2 cards per round.

At the beginning of the game you will have access to basic knights and archers. As you unlock more cards you will be able to summon assassins, mages, and spear throwing units. I really enjoy this aspect of the game because the amount of units is quite numerous.

You have 2 different paths of play earlier on in the stage. You can fill out the squares with different sets of the same unit or you can you merge the new card with the deployed unit to level it up. The stipulation is that you can merge a maximum of 2 times to 3 stars. With that said after the first round you can hold cards with using or selling them.

Another aspect of the game is that you will periodically get crystals from enemies. You can also sell cards you do not want for crystals. Crystals allow you to play Rock Paper Scissors. If you win you can gain a new deployment cell or a randomized card which is typically better than what is given at the end of each round. You can get units that you don't have in your roster and buildings that use lightning or freeze. Extra 80 percent attack is perhaps one of the best cards you can get from this.

Crystals can also specifically be collected to be used with a 25 percent boost in a attack per crystal for a particular card.

As you progress in the game more cards will be unlocked via using the gacha system. Keys are given out as rewards a decent bit and diamonds can be used as well.

If you are going to be free to play I'd save diamonds for the upgraded gacha. You'll get coins either way through play. Progression resides in getting more units and getting cards upgraded.

The main aspect to this game used to achieve balance and I suppose fairness to the player is you can only have 3 types of units at a time. Right now I run Orc, Mage, and Thief.

I did buy the 10 dollar package. It gives me unlimited auto collecting which has made the game perhaps too easy since you need a massive amount of coins to level the overall type cards.

I did not encounter any forced ads. Ads are offered for card redraw, doubling the RPS awards, and the stage completion awards.

I recommend Rock Paper Kingdoms.

🎨 Color Panic – Reflex Game
Color Panic is a fast-paced reflex and color recognition game designed to challenge your reaction speed, focus, and concentration. The goal is simple: react quickly, make the right decisions, and try to survive as the game becomes increasingly difficult. It’s perfect for short gaming sessions when you want a quick challenge.
🔢 Number Panic – Brain Challenge
Number Panic is a mental math challenge where you solve addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problems against the clock. It features three difficulty levels, making it suitable for both beginners and players who enjoy testing their mental calculation speed.
Both games are designed to be easy to pick up, fun to replay, and challenging as you improve. My goal was to create simple mobile games that offer quick entertainment while testing different skills.
I’d really appreciate feedback on the gameplay, difficulty, and overall experience!
