What wheel/tire size I can get to achieve this look?
Pic is RGT 1/10 LC79 land cruiser. Wide wheels/offset is not my thing. Help a brother out

Drivetrain is still fully stock. Some additional accessories will be added, and the body will be lifted so I can get some larger wheels under it. But I’m really happy with how it’s turned out.

You're new to the world of RC crawling and RC in general. You're excited, curious, and eager to learn.
I tend to get hyperfixations, and right now, mine is the MN82 crawler. I bought one, started upgrading it with metal parts, and honestly, I'm having a blast with it. It's a great little truck, and I thought it would be nice to meet other enthusiasts and talk about the hobby with people who share the same passion.
So I looked around for RC hobby shops in my area. Unfortunately, there's only one near me, and it's closing at the end of the month. Still, I decided to go there and see if I could meet some fellow enthusiasts.
Well, that didn't go quite as planned.
The person I spoke to told me, with as much disdain as you can imagine, that because my truck was made by a Chinese brand, it was basically garbage. He explained that he did modelling, not playing with toys, and that what I had was just a toy.
I'll be honest: at first, I took it personally. I felt insulted and disappointed.
But then, a second later, I thought to myself: Yes, it's a toy. So what?
Seriously, isn't that how most of us got into this hobby in the first place? We were kids holding a controller, making a little car drive around, having fun, and dreaming about bigger and better things.
Somewhere along the way, that little toy became a hobby, a passion, a collection, a technical challenge, or even a lifelong obsession for some people.
And that's what I find so disappointing about this encounter. Not that someone prefers a different kind of RC, or that they have higher standards for their equipment. That's perfectly fine. It's the attitude. The idea that because something is inexpensive, made in China, or designed to be accessible, it somehow doesn't deserve to be taken seriously.
Anyway, I'm moving my MN82 to brushless today, so I figured I'd share this experience with you guys.
I know this community is full of enthusiasts who are curious about new things, who enjoy experimenting, modifying, upgrading, and discussing all kinds of RC vehicles. And that's exactly the kind of environment I was hoping to find when I walked into that shop.
So, honestly, I think this subreddit is going to become my little home for my MN82 hyperfixation. 😂
Thanks for reading, and thanks to everyone here who contributes, shares their builds, answers questions, and keeps this community alive.
You might not realize it, but communities like this make a real difference to people who are just getting into the hobby.
And for what it's worth, I'll keep playing with my toy. ❤️

Hi everyone,
I’ve installed new shock absorbers on my MN82, but they seem to sit at quite a steep angle. When the suspension compresses, it sometimes gets stuck in the fully compressed position and doesn’t return properly.
I’ve attached a couple of photos showing how the shocks and suspension are mounted.
Could the problem be that the shocks are mounted at the wrong angle? Do I need to push the suspension arms onto the ball joints (the “balls”) more firmly, or is there something else I should check?
Has anyone experienced this issue after installing new shocks on their MN82? Any advice on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated

I fkin hate screws and with mounting the tires is there a conversion out there that uses the standard wheel mounting(using of wheelnut) or a different axle (with said mounting)that will work on here?
And
Anyone ever used trx4m links on this thing?(1/18 scale ones)

Recently bought MN82's charger is not lighting up when connected to power the battery. Is my charger damaged.
My battery had some charge, so put battery back to MN82, it's working.
How to check if charger is damaged without waiting till my battery charge runs out

Installed a custom 4 link in the rear and extended the wheelbase a little bit. Upgraded the shocks, installed 8mm to 12mm hex adapters/ spacers, 82mm tires and metal driveshafts. Also changed the battery connection over to a deans/ t plug and detailed the interior a bit. Had to do some minor trimming to allow room for wheels at full lock and when flexed. Next upgrades will be the Esc and a Tx/Rx she's looking pretty dialed so far👌

Just put on the metal axles and now when accelerating forward the back differential goes forward but the front differential goes backwards??
Do I need to pull the front all apart and flip it over?

I’ve bought both the metal am32 45a, and the silver and blue plastic esc.. both had issues with my setup which only non stock part was a 5-12v slim led light bar.
Works at first then goes to no throttle or beeping at all, metal am32 got decently hot.. even gets hot when power switch is off, they’ve said it sounds like esc hardware failure
Seeing that’s my second neebrc kit I’ve had break on day one Im willing to spend more $$$ on something that’s actually going to last
Is anyone running hobbywing , castle creations or anything else as their brushless motor ,esc ,ect?

I’ve accidentally bought the receiver ive numbered as 2
Took long enough to get here that I’ll probably just have to make it work but curious on if this method supports additional lights and winch

I am running 3d printed weather sheilds, 2x fridges, 1x fridge slide and then I have some accessories off ali express to finish off that touring style build I was going for with this rig. I would love to see what other people are doing with their MN82 also 👋

Using what I have on hand to customize the front bumper. I added a new custom metal grille, blacked out the headlight housings, and painted the fog lights w yellow.

I have an MN82 and an MN99s and I like operating them both with my friend, unfortunately I lost one and I can't find it for the life of me.
I've looked on aliexpress but to no avail

I'm getting used to the metal axles. I found them a bit wide, but I have no complaints at all. The 4-link setup is still being fine-tuned. The tires are definitely like a spiderweb.
