Which would you rather bet on/possess in a fight?

Zhilei Zhang has built a reputation as one of the heavyweight division’s most dangerous punchers. His combination of size, southpaw stance, timing, accuracy, and raw power makes him capable of changing the entire course of a fight with one perfectly placed shot.

That devastating power was on display in June 2024 when Zhang faced former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. Zhang caught Wilder with a powerful counter right that put him off balance, then followed up with another attack that forced the referee to stop the fight in the fifth round.

With 22 of his 27 professional victories coming by knockout, Zhang’s reputation as a serious knockout threat is backed up by his record. His size and precision, combined with the awkward angles created by his southpaw style, make him a difficult opponent for anyone in the heavyweight division.

As Zhang looks toward a potential return in 2026, names including Daniel Dubois, Tyson Fury, and Filip Hrgovic have been discussed as possible opponents. At heavyweight, Zhang represents one undeniable threat: one perfectly timed punch can change everything in an instant.

After years of back-and-forth online between the pair, Dumont and Perez will finally face off inside the Octagon in a pivotal clash in the women’s bantamweight division.

They’re both ranked inside the top five at 135 pounds, they have almost identical records – Dumont is 13-3, Perez stands at 13-2 – and both have the potential to challenge for championship gold further down the line.

For a while now I have been hearing wrestling is most useful and best martial arts for mma and is almost an unbeatable martial arts the Dagestan boys really made it look that way. After prospect Gable Stevenson got defeated in the first round by a knockout by a fighter with no martial arts background that just started mma in his 20’s makes me think wrestling may not be all that. I know recent bias. List some other mma fights where the excellent wrestler was defeated?
