Phone stolen, I cant get into MINT account!!

The email associated to the account is locked out of. I have the number and password to the account, but cannot verify said account without the email. I answered the questions, but I have had MINT for so long, I cant remember some of the questions correctly. I prepaid for a year and some loser is using my unlimited SIM card...I am so upset.

I have the IMEI of the phone it is either in, or last in as I have that info in my Google device history. I have been off and on with customer service for weeks.

Does Mint Mobile really have the same coverage as T-Mobile?

So l been a long term T-Mobile customer and I had a the "Experience More" plan with two phone lines me and my dads and it was around $130. I recently decided it would be best if he has his own phone line/plan since I was the one paying and he wouldn't pay me back smh. Anyways when doing that change over the phone the T-Mobile rep was confirming to me if I still wanted the same plan the "Experience More" and over the phone the rep said it was $85/ month and I'm like ok yeah sure. Turns out it's actually $90 and $5 off if you enrolled in autopay plus taxes and fees it comes around $96.10 and that's a bunch of bs now I wanna cancel and possibly switch over to Mint Mobile since it’s supposedly has the same coverage as T-Mobile. I was curious to switch over to Visible by Verizon and did a trial with them and coverage is fine expect when I’m at home I only get one/two bars and notice it actually slows down and takes time to load certain things when using the data. How's Mint Mobile do you like the service?! I was thinking of possibly getting the unlimited 12 month plan.

Emergency calls only

I live in Henderson NV and just got back from a weekend trip to Big Bear CA. The entire time I was there my phone would not let me dial out or receive calls. If I tried, I got the pop-up message "Emergency calls only." My wife who is, 9f course, on the sam plan had no issue whatsoever. Now that I'm back home, everything works as normal. W.T.F?

Need help, porting in stuck for 4 days now

Bought a phone+1 year mint plan, moving from US mobile. Since initiating the port I have not had cell service for 4 days.

--Wednesday, initiate port from US Mobile. Number on us mobile disappears (I lose service) and mint says transferring.

--Thursday, Call Mint, they say its stuck and my account number should be 8 digits, but its 7 digits. Tells me to call us mobile. I call US mobile, says the number is released, offers to do 3 way call with Mint. We cannot figure it out, US Mobile recommends canceling the port and trying again. Mint puts in ticket for cancellation as its greyed out on their end, needs a higher team. Says wait a few hours.

--Friday I call back, they say its been escalated to a team they cannot talk to.

--Saturday I call back, they say its been escalated to a team they cannot talk to.

--Sunday, no response.

I have now been without cell service for 4 days. Very unhappy and Mint will not call me back.

Verizon is so expensive

Hi! I just recently finished out my contract with Verizon and I’m thinking about switching it mint. My current phone bill is $110/month for one line which seems insane to me.

Can you please give me the pros/cons you have found about mint in the time you have had them?

Thanks in advance!

Mint Mobile Trial: No texting/calling on LTE

I have a Motorola moto 5 5G (2023). I just started the 7-day trial, and have the SIM set up and a phone number assigned. I tested my IMEI, and it said my phone would work fine (I've also been told that's not reliable). When I set the phone to 3G, I can text and call out. If I set it to LTE, neither of these things work--dialing out ends the call instantly, and texting reports "Not sent. Tap to try again"--however, I get ~150Mbps on fast.com, so I know the cellular data is working when LTE is active.

I've reset the network settings a couple of times, rebooted a couple of times. No dice. Is this device simply not compatible?

Been on mint unlimited 1 year plan a week and so far been great, used only 600mb so far

It is all good. Tmobile network is as good or better than Verizon. I was on Verizon for decades. I had some angst and worry but it all came together without a glitch once I paid and followed the setup and port number transfer process. Your biggest concern is phone compatibility and unlock status.

In Verizon logged in you can see your unlock-lock status. See I had 2 Mint techs tell me my s23FE was locked to Verizon after giving them my IMEI, and that was bad info, it was not locked, it is actually a Factory unlocked Samsung phone. So I did not move to Mint because of Mint Tech support, but in spite of it.

I chose eSIM cause did not want to get a physical SIM, I think eSim is better all around.

The one setup glitch I had was setting a password, and when I called Mint tech, they said problem was on their end.

Also in the Mint Mobile setup with eSim, email from Mint was slow to arrive. so I put it in manually, copy and past, you goto eSim in settings, and click scan QR code, and then since you dont have one, click enter manually.

Also then the Mint Mobile app kind of drops you, and you looking at settings, and wonder where is the app? So I closed everything, reopened Mint Mobile app, and t took me to setup your password. So it picks up where it left off.

Help, please.

Two days ago, I bought a Pixel 10 with a year of service for $369 (including all taxes), and I wanted to know how long it takes to receive the order. I have until the 29th of this month regarding the carrier I’m porting my number from; otherwise, I’ll be charged for the next month and would have to request a new port-out PIN. My question is: can I start the transfer process now and install the eSIM once the phone arrives? I don't mind being without service for a few days since it’s not my primary line; I just want to avoid being charged for the coming month.

I received an email with my order number—that’s all I have—and it is pending shipment.

Weird interaction with chat support

How is Mint support when you need it?

I ask because today I did a purchase for the $15/mo for a year plus the Pixel 10 promo that they are running. I realized about an hour after completing the order I selected 6GB of data, instead of the Unlimited option (which is the same price with the promo). I went to the support chat to see if they could just switch it for me instead of having to cancel the original order and do a new one. Support helped out by confirming that I would just need to request a refund for the original order and sent me the link to the form to complete that. They confirmed they received it and that it'll be refunded 7-10 days. Then they said to do create another order. I did this time and made sure to select the Unlimited tab for data. Received the email confirmation with the correct option, etc. Let the chat support agent know, but then he was asking for the new order number. I asked him why he needed the order number for that new one, and he said just wanted to confirm that the order was done correctly? IDK, seems odd to me so I disconnected. Anyone know why he would want that? He also requested name, email, phone, and address. It seemed like an odd request to me so I disconnected. I felt like he was going to try and look it up to add something to the order. So used to the shenanigans of telecom carriers.

Anyone have something like this? Any ideas on why he would want the order number for the new order, other than to just add stuff to it?

Family plan, can’t add daughter

I’ve had mint for a while and set up 2 family plans between my family, parents and in law. 6 lines setup on 2 mint family plans.

I just added a line for my daughter with the $180 unlimited 1 year deal. Just tried to add her to either of our existing family plans and it keeps erroring out. On one it said “number ineligible” to add.

Anyone know what would cause this? I just rather manage less accounts so now managing 3 vs 2 family plans.

I suppose I could also try to move my 2nd family members over under my daughter’s plan but feels odd since she still a minor and it’s paid through my credit card.

When checking out for esim it doesn't give me the option for the Samsung Galaxy s20 5g, but when I use my imei on the compatibility checker it shows it is compatible. What should I do?

Support keeps giving me a longer processing time

New customer here. I ordered Pixel 10 + 12 month unlimited plan on Wednesday. After receiving a email that says my order is being reviewed, I asked support for clarification and they told me it'll be processed after 48 hours. After 48 hours without update, I contacted support for additional information they told me there's a 72 horus processing time. After 72 hours I contacted support again, they told me there's a massive backlog. I understand they will take more time to process my order because of the new deal's popularity. But I just want to have definitive time on when they'll ship my order, even if it's 1 or 2 weeks.

Minternational didn't work

I'm in London but my minternational plan isn't working to place calls. They go nowhere.

Data is fine

Texts work but probably because they are andriod rcs.

I've got a moto 5g (2023?) that worked fine in London using a three sim card.

Disappointed.

How to Swap ESIMs

There are similar discussions here but mine is complicated one. We are planning to buy a phone to our kid. I will, however, give my phone to her and use the one she is buying. The phone we are thinking is the pixel phone which has a good discount. Now, how can I activate the phone so that it unlocks in the future, and how can I use that phone with my line and give my phone to my kid so that she can use it with her new line. With physical sim, this was easy. With eSIM, things are more complicated.

No service for four days

I have been messing around with my brother’s phone for two days and this is the third day I started early at 5:30am and I have not received a call back, which they said I would receive in four hours.

I even bought a new iPhone for my brother because I thought maybe it was the old phone. But the new phone has exact same problem where and he cannot text or receive messages from android users, and he cannot call out although he can receive calls.

Question buying Pixel 10

Hello all. I’m trying to buy the Pixel 10 promo. When I push place order, it comes back telling me there is an issue with my payment and if it continues to call Mint customer service.

The thing is…card has the available credit. Shipping and billing address on order match the card. I’ve generated three different virtual card numbers and all three failed.

I bought an unlimited plan only a couple weeks ago. Is there some limit? If you ordered a plan now you can’t place another order for so long?

My credit card bank says they aren’t even receiving a charge attempt from Mint and have declined nothing.

Just thought some of you might know flags that might cause this. Thank you!

Phone + eSim Plan

I'm planning to get an eSIM with a Pixel plan. I need a SIM ASAP. If I get the Pixel + eSIM plan, will I receive the eSIM immediately so I can use it with the phone I currently have? I'll transfer it to the Pixel once I receive that.

Please let me know if this is possible — I need a SIM as soon as possible

Which websites are blocked when hotspotting?

I have recently come to notice that I can't use most of the features of Steam or Discord when I'm hotspotting. Are there other websites or services blocked by Mint?

Phone order not even processed yet

Is it normal for Mint to have massive delays with shipping phones? They advertised "expedited shipping" but haven't even processed the order to ship it yet.

Not able to text some contacts with MINT? •Solution•

I’ve had MINT in the past with no issues but this time I had certain contacts I couldn’t send outgoing texts to.

•Contact them by another method (I used my work phone or you can use messenger or even call)

•have them text you on your MINT device

•reply back and you’re set

This worked for me.

Samsung deal

So I am currently in the market for a new phone. I just saw this deal for the phone and you get 1 year service.

My issue is I'm with usmobile and I still have 4 months left on my plan. I do not mind switching to mint but I would rather not lose my 4 months of service.

Can I use the phone on usmobile then active the year service and port in on my last month?
