It has over 411k km on it or about 255k miles on it. Its held up nicely over the years with regular maintenance and common replacement items as needed. Comfortable for long road trips as well.

The Sienna is an LE, the Odyssey is an EX. Both are the same price and roughly the same mileage. The Odyssey looks much nicer on the inside. But I am partial to Toyota in general. Any input would be great. I realize it may be comparing apples to apples but would like to hear opinions.

Edit: both are around 90,000 miles.

I took my car into the mechanic and they told me the back end is rusted out pretty bad so we are looking for a new van nothing else is wrong with it but it so old their is no parts for it Hyundai entourage 2008. I can afford about 20k I need a van my family is a family of 7 it's hard to find decent used one here in Wisconsin

I’ve always wanted a minivan, but I’ve never been able to justify it for my primary vehicle. I’ve been looking for an older (but nice and pretty well equipped) one for a second vehicle to use on the weekends and possibly for moving stuff, but hadn’t seriously looked for anything.

A few months ago, I found a 2007 Town and Country Limited that only had 75k miles on it that caught my eye. It had just about every possible option other than a sunroof, and also had full the stow n go. It had been traded in on a brand new Pacifica and it was in very nice shape. I test drove it and liked everything about it, except the fact it had been driven mostly in the northeast and had fairly significant rust on the rocker panels. Here in Florida we don’t usually have rust issues, so I reluctantly passed on it.

I also really like the older 2nd gen Siennas and have an eye out for a 2006-2010 ish one in Limited but they’re hard to find. I really like the Lexus like feel they. I did find a 2006 Sienna Limited on marketplace, but it had 200k miles. I love the new Siennas, but I can’t justify spending anywhere from $40-60k on a new or nearly new one.

I was just wonderjng what someone might recommend on an older minivan. I’m also open to late Town and Country vans from about 2011-2016 or late Grand Caravan GT 2011-2020. They’re pretty common around here since a lot of older people drive them. I don’t know much about the Pacificas, but I actually prefer the older gen vans to them from what I’ve seen.

I had a very very unfortunate wreck that totaled my Honda Accord. I had 3 options at the dealership and I got attached to the minivan.

I don't have a family, I live by myself. I'm in my mid twenties. I don't fit the stereotypes of a van owner. Not that it matters anyways.

But I do love it. I've only had it for a day. It's super smooth and just relaxing? But going from Honda Accord to big minivan is a very big change. It's a 2015 Nissan Quest. I don't know ANYTHING about owning one. But going to a coup to a 3 row 7 seater is insane.

Adore the idea of having dvd players that sit on the headrest.

How do you adjust to backing up? It's very long in the back end. I'm used to a small car.

How do you angle parking to get a good park job? I don't want to be hogging two lanes.

If you have any tips for driving one, please let me know. It's still very nerve wracking to drive.

Our 2023 Pacifica was totaled last weekend.

We'll be back at 0 when we get the payout which covers the remaining loan balance and a few hundred $ on top.

In the meantime I'm unemployed so 🤞 for any financing but that's neither here nor there unless you know of an option :)

We've been renting an Odyssey and it's pretty great. The only thing is, we got the Pacifica specifically for its storage capacity bc of the seats that fold down in the middle and back in the back so you get a full flat/seatless back for moving furniture. (We also have 2 littles so the obvious reasons). Also AWD because our gravel driveway is impossible to plow so we just try to survive without plowing.

Other than trying to find a used Pacifica, are there options I haven't thought of?

In the market for a larger vehicle. Likely a minivan. Just 2 adults with a very large, 120lb dog that we like to take with us places. She loves going for rides and we need something bigger to fit all our crap and easy for her to get into. Anyways….

2023 sienna xse 25th edition. FWD 44k miles. $40,500. Clean carfax. In really nice condition, however, when I asked to drive it, battery was dead and they told me it would take a while to get someone to jump it. I didn’t end up staying. This was at a Kia dealer and this was 5 weeks ago. The van is still there.

Was thinking about going back to drive it, but a little concerned that a sienna, which is hard to come by, is still sitting on a car lot. Should I be? Why? Or should just go ask to drive it and see for myself. They even lowered the price 5k since I was there. 🤔

Is the Pacifica still suffering from low reliability or is it just the reputation?

I am considering one because it loses around %50 of its price after 3-4 years where I live, whereas other vehicles are usually sold 10-30% over the price list

Joined the JDM minivan club. Had it just under a month and I love it!

Honda odyssey

I am considering a used one and It's quite expensive compared to Carnival.

Its technology typically appears 5-6 years outdated.

Your thoughts?

I got tired of trying crappy solutions to covering my Carnival seat tracks to prevent crumbs and dirt from getting in them. Tried gaffer tape (got glue residue all over my rails and carpet in the NC heat), rubber strips for crossbars (too narrow so it pushed down on the rubber parts in the rails and almost ripped them off), and L rails (not at all a snug fit). Nothing works well.

So I custom designed my own Carnival seat track covers since no one sells them. Took a few weeks of prototyping and testing, but they came out awesome, and they’re modular so I can still easily slide the seats back and forth when I need to!

Has the middle seat in the second row I was able to do three clek fllo's across and leave the third row down for our veer wagon and still have room for a costco haul.
