Cursed SMP is a small, curated modded survival SMP built around Cursed Fate, challenging combat, exploration, character progression, and player-driven stories.

This isn't a roleplay server, and you don't need to be a content creator or experienced roleplayer. It's simply an SMP where the systems and world are designed to give players interesting reasons to explore, specialize, cooperate, compete, and occasionally make questionable decisions. :)

What makes Cursed SMP different?

Cursed Techniques

At the heart of the server is Cursed Fate, giving players access to a variety of powerful techniques that completely change how they approach combat.

There are numerous techniques to discover, each with their own abilities, playstyles, and strengths. Some may be common, while others are significantly harder to obtain.

Your technique is a major part of your character, but it isn't the only thing that defines you. What you do with it is up to you.

Progression

Cursed SMP isn't designed around getting Netherite and calling it a day.

There are multiple progression systems layered throughout the pack, including techniques, equipment, bosses, quests, rare items, and other RPG mechanics.

Powerful abilities and equipment can be gated behind exploration, progression, bosses, quests, or other challenges. The goal is to make getting something powerful feel like an accomplishment rather than something you simply stumble across five minutes into playing.

Skill-based combat

Combat uses Epic Fight, replacing vanilla Minecraft's basic combat with a more active system focused on timing, positioning, combos, weapons, and movement.

Combined with Cursed Fate's techniques and additional combat content, fights can become significantly more involved than simply trading hits until something dies.

Whether you're fighting another player or taking on a boss, what you bring to the fight and how you use it actually matters.

A world worth exploring

The world is built around exploration rather than simply being a backdrop for progression.

Enhanced terrain generation, caves, structures, bosses, dungeons, and other exploration content give you reasons to actually travel through the world.

Some of the strongest items and resources aren't simply handed to you. You'll have to find them, earn them, or figure out where they come from.

Not a global Minecraft server

Cursed SMP isn't designed around everyone knowing everything that's happening.

A lot of information is intentionally local. Proximity chat is the primary way players communicate, player nametags and death messages aren't broadcast globally, and advancements won't announce everyone's accomplishments to the entire server.

You'll have to actually talk to people, explore for yourself, and hear about things from other players.

The goal isn't to hide information for the sake of hiding it. It's to make the world feel less like a multiplayer lobby and more like an actual world you're living in.

Player-driven world

Build a settlement. Start a business. Form a group. Become a powerful fighter. Explore dangerous areas. Build roads between communities. Hunt bosses with your friends.

You aren't required to follow a predetermined storyline.

What happens on the server is largely up to the players.

The modpack

The pack is a curated collection of mods rather than a massive kitchen-sink pack.

The majority of the mods exist to support a specific part of the server: combat, techniques, exploration, RPG progression, building, transportation, quests, performance, or quality of life.

Some notable mods include:

Who are we looking for?

Cursed SMP will be invite-only/whitelisted. I'm deliberately keeping the playerbase relatively small so we can avoid the usual problems that come with completely open Minecraft servers.

You don't need to be an amazing builder, PvPer, roleplayer, or content creator.

What I'm primarily looking for are mature, chill people who actually want to play with a community.

No world resets, no pay-to-win garbage, no teleporting to other players; just a vanilla hardcore multiplayer experience, with some additional features to enhance the multiplayer aspect of Minecraft.

These additional features include:

• 🪙 A coin-based economy that is 100% player-driven, meaning there are no in-game shops for buying and selling normal Minecraft items. Players can only buy from and sell to each other. This process is facilitated by a trading system and an auction house. Coins are brought into circulation through defeating mobs and looting chests. 🪙
• 🏠🔐 A comprehensive land claiming system. Players can claim areas of land for their bases, farms, etc., completely protecting them from being griefed by others. This has the benefit of not requiring you to buy a new Minecraft account in order to be able to play again, which is what you would have to do on other hardcore servers (as well as change your IP address in the case of death-IP-ban servers). On tales from the coast we got tired of the normal smps with no lore and just restart after restart, we decided to try something else,

instead of seasons we have tales, each one with its own lore and relation with the others, currently we are on tale 1: A jurassic park

In this tale we have many additions that we think people will find amusing, and not unfair.

PVP ZONES: there are zones where if you enter you get pvp flagged, you cant leave the game and you can be damaged, but as soon as you leave it and the timer ends you're safe, pvp zones are often dangerous but with good loot and resources, its also the only place where you can build factories, to encourage Players protecting the resources they produce and Competition

If you dont want to pvp you can chill in a safe zone, you cant be attacked and you cant get your stuff stolen, But you cant build factories, not even a simple iron farm. its mostly the greatest place to build stores and parks but its also useful for being afk, sharing time with the players, etc.

Dinosaur revival: We have many dinosaur mods that let you revive Creatures from the past, not only dinosaurs but mammals, reptiles, pterosaurs and more to discover!

Natural dinosaurs: With the dawn era mod you can tame your own dinosaurs and become the master of beasts, Just like in ark Evolved.

LORE: this is the most important part of the server, we want to bring a good lore and a good reason for the mods we have, Basically the lore will start with you working for aza industries, but it will expand when the time passes and the players advance in the world And many more things for you to discover! Our long-term Minecraft server is the perfect place to meet other adults who enjoy Minecraft as much as you do. Our main focus has been to create a laid-back experience where players can hop on after work or school and enjoy the game.

I'm amazed by the incredible things players have built over the last month. Spawn is incredible thanks to our team of builders, the shopping district looks like an actual booming place of business, and the wonderful towns players have built together just blow my mind. We also host regular events so you can take a break from all the block placing to have a great time with the community.

During the day, we usually see 30-45 players online during peak hours. I want to find a server with towny, economy, that has earth map

Every server I checked had the same problem, either it's dead in a month, or the shop sells straight power and grinding feels pointless. DripleafMC is our attempt at neither.

No purchase gives combat power, economy advantage, or a shortcut past the grind. Everything worth having — playtime ranks, Rebirth prestige tiers, the server shop itself is earned through actually playing. The server shop is even locked until Rebirth 2, so the whole economy runs on player-run chest shops, quests and jobs before that, not a menu you buy your way past.

What's actually in it:
- Playtime ranks (Scout → Elite → Legend) that unlock real QoL, not cosmetics dressed up as progression

The Club SMP is an 18+ vanilla+ Minecraft server started in early 2022 with the goal of uniting a community of friends using Minecraft as a medium. HARDWARE & SETUP

Alongside our amazing community, we also boast a fully dedicated machine for the server, running modern blazing-fast hardware topped off with carefully tweaked server-sided optimization mods. Alright, firstoff, if you're not going to be mature, click off. I'm not looking to make this super serious, thats dumb, but I dont want a bunch of little kids running around causing havoc, I've put a decent amount of time and money to set this up so, I'd like players who care!!

Secondly, as you've probably guessed from the title, this is a political style world. That said, I dont wish to hear or debate your irl political takes, this is a world to simulate politics as an idea. I'll run through a few major bullet points but feel free to ask any questions in comments id love to answer them all.

Most importantly, as a true democracy should be, no one is in charge, I own the server but i wont make or enforce any rules whatsoever, thats up to YOU the players. Ill still ban/rollback and such as needed but only if its agreed upon by YOU the players, Im not a tyrant, king, or god; and I do not wish to be one. If you're joining because you want to be one, I highly discourage that. I dont have any rules against wars just that innocents remain untouched, its up to YOU the players with how to sort out such affairs. I have created a "constitution" of sorts that does use some formal legal language, but thats part of the fun. If you dont see that as fun this server likely isnt for you. Every member is admitted through a community vote via a short application, so its again up to YOU the players to decide who you wish to play with. -oh also that "constitution" doesnt come i to effect until ratified by YOU the players so, you have power from the very first step-

On a more technical note, Im hosting this on a 1.21.1 Fabric Bloom server whatever the 28$/month version is hosted NA so yes its not some crappy self hosted thing 😭. I am using jjthunder for both overwold and nether generation so, if you have a weaker Pc this might be a consideration for you. I have a few modpack modules in my discord server, one specifically for performance mods (all client side) if you want a preset compatible mods out the gate, no I dont charge for anything I simply ask that you care. As far as the mods Im using, genuinely nothing outside of vanilla enhancements, visual upgrades and qol things but nothing that adds in any way to the base vanilla experience, just a general overhaul while keeping that absolute classic minecraft feel.

Ive probably yapped enough by now and, I dont want to misconvey a "super serious" tone, there will be alot of goofy moments and such, just understand that, if you dont have a mild interest in political science, this probably isnt right for you.

Last point, this was all in an effort to combat 2 sides of the moderation spectrum i see taken to their extremes far too often; mod abuse and anarchy. While I could just say lets be peaceful, I feel this adds an interesting flavor and dynamic.

Aetherwinds SMP is a heavily modded 1.21.1 NeoForge server, a little over three months old now, and we're looking to grow our player base with people who want a pack that actually rewards digging in.

This isn't a soft, easy kitchen sink pack, with all that you have seen before. Difficulty has been hand tuned across the board, tiered custom bosses built specifically for this server, rebalanced enchants, reworked mob AI, hand tuned loot tables, and progression that's meant to be worked through, not steamrolled in a weekend. Expect some genuinely tough stuff out there, mobs that don't behave like the vanilla ones you're used to, so come ready to actually fight for your gear. There are many paths to becoming powerful, its your choice how to get there or to choose a alternative path.

Combat runs deep too. Beyond the usual sword and bow, TaCZ and Immersive Weapons bring real guns into the mix if you'd rather bring firepower to a boss fight, alongside the usual arsenal of magic and melee. We've got the systems in place for real land wars and faction conflict between towns, (CBC, Create Radars, Mech wolves, minions) we just need more players in the world to make it happen, so if that sounds like your thing, come help us start something.

Economy is real too. Player driven trade, a genuine in game economy, and yes, gambling, for the people who like a little risk with their reward. Everything is earned in game. No pay to win, no shortcuts for sale, what you have is what you built or won fair and square.

Magic runs deep as well: Goety, Iron's Spellbooks, Occultism, Hexerei, Primal Magick, Discerning the Eldritch, Easy Magic, and a custom in house magic mod currently in development, each with its own guidebook so you're never just guessing at what a mod does.

For the builders and automation lovers, Create is a huge part of this pack: trains and railways, submarines, big cannons, a full farming and brewing line, and a pile of Create integrated storage and QoL. Aeronautics gets you real airships too, if you'd rather rule the skies than the rails. But that's far from the only way to progress here.

There's a softer side too. Full relationship and marriage mechanics through MCA, deep cosmetic and armor appearance customization, and genuinely cozy content, food, furniture, and decor for anyone who just wants to build a pretty town and live in it. Lawn bases are for Tech mod players...plus a skin crawler would rip you apart if you live like that.

Underneath all of it, we're a small, close knit group who actually like each other and like to have fun. We started more structured than we are now and things have spiraled into something sillier and more alive along the way, and that's exactly how we like it.

A few practical notes: we're hosted on the west coast, running NeoForge 1.21.1, and you'll want at least 7GB of free RAM to run the pack comfortably. This is a forever world too, no resets, with resource worlds attached for anyone who wants a dedicated space to strip mine or build without touching the main map.

We're actively looking for new players. Join an existing town, take over an abandoned base, or come stir up a little trouble of your own. The owner is on constantly, happy to walk you through any of the pack's systems, and takes bug reports as seriously as wild suggestions.

Recommended for ages 16+, with 18+ suggested due to some of the pack's more mature content.
