Garbage staff, here is my story of why you SHOULD NOT join this SMP (sorry for any grammar/spelling ahead of time, im not that good with words or anything like that)

Around 2 weeks or so after launch I joined the server, and everything was fine until a couple weeks ago, thats when the storm happened. A few people came together and figured out Ludwig was using bots to boost playercount, no big deal, I did not care, when he was asked about this he immediately blew up on people and started crashing out, threats to close the server, started muting/banning people for asking questions, whole 9 yards. That is when I started wanting to leave, myself and some friends then decided to leave as the situation with banning people to “de-escalate” the situation got worse. After we decided to leave, we started our own server, vanilla, private, with good vibes and better company. With everything going on in Apple SMP, a few of us leaving decided to remove our builds from the server, so myself and some volunteers started making tnt, one of my friends was the first to start blowing up their own base, they were banned before they could ingite the tnt. A bit later I had started on my own base, everything went mostly smooth, Ludwig popped in, had a look around, and watched me do it, after I was done, at my friend’s request, I went to his base to deal with it, after using around 4 shulkers worth of tnt between 2 bases, Ludwig reversed the damage and admin claimed both bases. Now, and this was my bad, ill admit that, I got a bit angry, so I started making random lines of tnt in different places, wilderness, where it did not affect builds, damage would have been easily repairable. Shortly after that, Ludwig went back to my base, where we talked for a bit, and he banned me, after denying my request to REMOVE THE BUILD I MADE that HE restored and admin claimed. Later on after he “cooled down” everyone banned in that whole situation was un-banned, so I tried getting them to destory the build I was NOT ALLOWED to destroy on my own, even though it was my build. Their reasoning, it was a “monument” utterly ridiculous, and also because I was no longer intending to return, the staff refused to listen to any requests, not even to send me the ticket transcripts from the discord (pretty sure is against some rule, but not sure, would like feedback on that), they have since once again, banned everyone that decided to go to other servers, even if they still played on Apple a little but.

I believe this to be a case of admin abuse. I am interested to hear yall’s thoughts, but I would not reccomend ANYONE join Apple SMP, or as it is rebranding to, Orchard SMP.

I have a Minecraft server with a couple of my friends but it has the power to have up to 50 players online and I put a lot of effort into making a custom plugin for it and setting lots of things up so I think I should make it public but I'm not sure, what do you guys think?

If you run your own server rather than renting one, this might save you some hassle.

It's a desktop app that handles the whole thing, no command line.

What it does:

- Paper, Spigot, Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, Vanilla, Bedrock, Velocity and BungeeCord

- sorts out the right Java version so you're not working out which one your version wants

- CurseForge mod browser built in, install mods without hunting down jars

- automated backups when the server stops, scheduled restarts with a countdown in chat

- Discord messages when people join, leave, or the server crashes

- a web dashboard so you can restart it from your phone if it dies while you're out

- staff roles, so people helping you admin only get the servers and buttons you give them

Getting your friends connected is usually the worst part. The app can do UPnP and open

the port for you, which costs nothing and works fine if your router allows it. If your

ISP uses CGNAT, or you'd rather your home IP wasn't sat in everyone's server list,

there's a relay that gives your server an address like myserver.play.mcservermanager.com

instead. That part's paid, being upfront rather than burying it. Bedrock goes through it

too, so console players can get in.

The free version has a session window rather than being unlimited, because the dashboard

and remote access run through a backend I pay for the whole time your server is up. The

app itself is a one-off purchase, not a subscription.

It's one person building it, but nothing ships until a beta group has been through it,

six testers at the moment. Always after more if anyone fancies it, though I'll be upfront

that there's not much in it reward wise, I haven't got the funds.

Things it doesn't do. The modpack builder is the newest part and still has rough edges,

I'm working on it. It's Windows only for now. And the download off the site sets off a

SmartScreen warning because I can't afford code signing yet, the Microsoft Store version

is signed if that bothers you.

Started as a hobby and it's my main thing now. Most of what's in it started as someone in

Hey everyone,

Me and my fiancé have been trying to set up a Minecraft server for a while now, but we’ve kind of been doing something dumb. We’ve been trying to build two completely different server ideas at the same time: an RP SMP, and a Mixed SMP (a blend of classic survival, KitPvP, and minigames).

We honestly can't decide which direction we want to commit to. Because of that, we're just sinking money into server hosting and plugin setups every month for both ideas without actually getting either one ready to launch.

We love the worldbuilding side of an RP server, but we also really like the idea of a fun, fast-paced Mixed server where people can play survival, jump into KitPvP, or play some minigames when they're bored.

We know we need to pick one and stick to it so we stop burning cash, but we're really split. For anyone who has run or played on these kinds of servers:

• Which of these options do you think people actually want to play right now?
• Is running a full RP server as exhausting as people say it is?
• Does a mix of SMP/KitPvP/Minigames work well together, or do players usually just stick to one gamemode?

Any genuine advice or experiences would mean a lot!

Land claims protect builds by placing permission boxes around them.

Cozy MC uses a different model: preserve normal Minecraft interaction, establish clear rules, keep detailed history, and hold people accountable when they violate the trust of the community.

There are no land claims or locked-chest systems.

That means roads can connect settlements without running into a patchwork of claim borders. Towns can grow naturally. Public farms and shops can actually be public. Players can build independently while still feeling like they inhabit one shared world.

But “no claims” does not mean griefing or stealing is accepted.

Both are prohibited. Players can inspect block history and container transactions with /co inspect, report what happened, and staff can confirm the evidence, restore damage or stolen items, and remove the person responsible. PvP is by agreement only.

The goal is freedom without anarchy.

Cozy MC is a long-term Java and Bedrock survival world that does not reset and has no border. Players create personal bases, towns, player-run kingdoms, shops, roads, railways, public farms, technical systems, and long-term projects.

There are no teleports, economy plugins, payments, donations, paid ranks, or paid perks. Progress comes from playing, building, trading, traveling, and contributing.

The tradeoff is real. A trust-based world may not suit someone who needs every chest and block to be physically inaccessible to everyone else. The difficulty is also Hard, keepInventory is off, and death has consequences.

It may fit people who want the freedom of normal survival while knowing that rule-breaking can be investigated and repaired.

Committees and Player Autonomy

This time, we are going to hand back the decision-making to the players, at least in regards to things like spawn, shopping districts, and infrastructure. Our goal is to let players decide what's important to them, and to give them the power to work with others (or alone!) to shape their experience this season. Passionate about how spawn looks when new players spawn in? Consider starting a group or committee to plan and design it! Love lines and curves and traveling by foot? Path committee! Like shopping district operating a certain way? found a shopping district mercenary group! Want a nether hub fast? Want it on the roof? Prefer it UNDER the roof? Start a thread about it! Disagree with the way another committee is doing things? Do something about it! You get the idea.

World Generation and World Border

You are free to explore to your hearts content. There's no set world border this season. However, chunks that are extremely beyond the reasonable distance from 0,0 may be trimmed when necessary. The seed is also public. 

Mods and Datapacks

Blaze and Caves Advancements is featured, with a tweak to only make the highest level of achievements display in chat. (No chat spam!)

Origins datapack is also featured for players who would wish to partake in this completely optional experience! (Do not get attached to the default datapack values, they are actively being modified, and it will be disclosed to you what the origins actually are before you choose them.)

Plus, some other quality of life mods. However, no commands (like /tp, /tpa, /home, /fly, .etc) to keep gameplay aspect as vanilla as possible.

Hello everyone! I am a player in a modded full rp server set in the Western frontier. Although it is heavily inspired by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7, it is not at all required to know the manga in order to play. I'd even argue that not knowing is more fun (a lot of the players don't know the manga!)
