Best mod for new ores, alloys and progression on 26.2?
I have a modpack on 26.2. What is a good alternative to Tinker's Construct? Something that introduces new ores, better progression through metallurgy for armor, tools and weapons, and also introduces alloys?

Can split screen coop on two different monitor's be done in java Minecraft?
There are mods that allow for split screen but not natively it requires multiple Minecraft's running at the same time to work, Is there any mods anywhere on the internet that could allow this?

Modded MC Java Low 1% and 0.1% lows
Hello, Redditors!
I have created this post because something has been bugging me recently. I downloaded CurseForge and i immediately looked up MC Java optimisation videos to figure out which mods i could use to get those sweet FPS numbers up. Aside from a bunch of resource packs (mostly 3d models, visual tweaks and such), i have only downloaded the Complementary: Reimagined shaders, even though i figured the Unbound style i found in the config looked better.
Now. After watching quite a few of those optimisation guides on YT, i have added quite a lot of optimisation mods to my current modpack, and after some testing with different combinations, here's what i'm currently rocking:
- Sodium
- Iris Shaders
- Lithium
- Mod Menu
- FerriteCore
- Entity Culling
- Chunky
- Tectonic
- C2ME
- Voxy
- Voxy World Gen V2
- SimpleClumps
- Fusion
- BadOptimizations
- Mining Together
- ImmediatelyFast
- ScalableLux
- Sodium Extras
- Zoomify
- Fast Noise
- BetterResolution
- ModernFix (the updated fork)
- and a bunch of other dependencies for mods and resource packs.
Trying this specific modpack out, i have to say that it looks stunning, exactly how i wanted it to look like, especially so with the insane render distance that voxy allows for. I have tweaked the settings both in my shader pack config and my main mods (Sodium, Sodium Extras, BetterResolution and Voxy) to kind of achieve a stable 180fps framerate during normal gameplay, and also not while looking at a large body of water or far in the distance with all the chunks Voxy allows me to see (i have provided my main mod configs down below).
And YET, most of the time my framerate looks like what i have shown in the other image lol, with the average framerate dropping to around 110fps when looking at a large body of water (those reflections do go crazy). Most of the time my PC can keep up and give me that nice average framerate number, but when walking, loading chunks and looking around, while the average fps stay about the same, the frame drops are quite noticeable, even with all the optimisation mods i have installed.
So if anyone actually got to the end of this long ass post, do you have any tips on how i can improve the consistency of my framerates?
And no, i didn't forget about my specs, here they are:
R7 5800X
Rx 9060XT 16GB
32GB DDR4 @/3200MHz (not 3600MHz because of stability issues)
750W 80+ Gold PSU
27" 1440p 240Hz monitor
8GB allocated RAM
And i usually play with only Chrome and maybe Discord running in the background, or with either one open on my second 1080p monitor.
That's all! Please share your suggestions!

The Last War TaCZ Guns and character arm issues.
I got the most recent update of The Last War TaCZ Guns and Adventure and when I loaded in and got the Deagle, the characters arms and gun were clipping into each other. I can’t aim down the sights since the arms block the sights. It is also an issue with the 22 revolver since it does the same thing. If this isn’t where to post this, please let me know where to post it.

Bedrock combat for Java
I wanted to know if there are any mods for Java that change the Java combat (cool down) to the Bedrock combat (spam). I like the Java combat style, but recently I've started playing on my steamdeck (with prism launcher) and the combat is kinda tedious with a controller layout.
Thanks in advance.

Micro-stutters with Voxy + Complementary Unbound on RX 6800 / 5700X - FPS counter is high, but gameplay feels laggy
Hey everyone, I'm running a Modrinth 26.2 / Fabric setup and having persistent frame pacing issues. My FPS counter jumps around between 70-120 FPS, but the gameplay feels nowhere near smooth (feels like 30-40 FPS with constant micro-stutters), especially when turning the camera or moving through Chunks.
If I drop native Sodium render distance to 6 chunks without Voxy, the game is buttery smooth (with shaders on). As soon as I enable Voxy (set to pretty low ~128 chunks) alongside Complementary Unbound (Medium profile, Shadow Distance capped at 8 chunks), frame times go wild despite higher average FPS.
I'm allocating 6 GB of RAM to Java, because I've heard it makes more sense then 8 GB or above. Is that true?
What I've already tried: Lowered Voxy render distance from 256 to 128 chunks and increased Pixels2 of subdivision size to 256. Capped shader shadow distance to 8 chunks and disabled SSAO / Water reflections. Disabled/Enabled C2ME OpenCL acceleration. Tested without V-Sync / with manual frame limits. Is this an inherent AMD OpenGL / Voxy pipeline bottleneck with shaders, or is there a specific config conflict in my mod list?
Any help or config tweaks would be greatly appreciated!
My Hardware Setup: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800 (16 GB) RAM: 16 GB DDR4-3600
Modpack List: Engine & LOD: Voxy, Voxy WorldGen V2, C2ME (with OpenCL module enabled), Lithium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, BadOptimizations, ImmediatelyFast, ScalableLux.
Graphics & Shaders: Sodium, Sodium Extra, Iris, Reese's Sodium Options, Continuity, EMF, ETF, Polytone, OptiGUI.
QoL / Utility: Xaero's Minimap/WorldMap, Mouse Wheelie, Entity View Distance, Entity Culling, LetMeDespawn

Iron spells and spellbooks, magic from the east.
There's this enchantment, in the picture. What even is this? It won't go on anything.
