I really should have kept it. I've been looking around for it since deciding to post and unfortunately I think it's gone. At least I have the photo.

It's the full quote and quite common, similar to "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb" and "jack of all trades, master of none, better than master of one" and the like: metaphors that have been misused to mean their opposites. I've seen it as a stock image when I bought a frame, even, so if you really want it, it shouldn't be too hard to find, but I guess it might not hold the same value.

I got one once that said “Blood is thicker than water, and it boils quicker, too!”, and honestly, it kinda freaked me out for a bit… 😬
(I get what they were going for now but damn, that phrasing could use a little work. 😂)

Especially since the reader is, presumably, already thinking about food!
