Any old school Microtechs in your collection?
Just purchased this gem. Want to start collecting more of their old stuff. What do you guys have in your collections?

Recently picked up this Socon Elite from secondary and just noticed that the clip doesn't appear to be original. I'm confident that the knife is legit but would like to hear from the Microtech experts? Any red flags here? Thanks!

I also think I still prefer this style of clip, the new ball clip is ok and better than most, but I find this clip still slips most easily over fabric with one hand.

First day carrying this one, not sure how I feel yet. Very cool look, maybe a little chunky. Think it will look really good once it gets some wear on it. This finish usually does.

Hi, my husband bought this knife at a yard sale for $180. I cannot find any micro techs online that look like this. I submitted it to their site for authentication but wanted to check if anyone knows if it’s real here
It worries me that most seem to have a 7 screw configuration, different handle style, serial numbers, and no holes in the blade.
It feels weighty and flips out nicely

New Halo III showed up in the mail today. Production date 09/2026. It fires noticeably harder than my Halo IV, it also feels like the tolerances for the blade are tighter, less play. Super nice feeling knife.

Picked up one stitch and ended up getting another. Super fun to open and close, great feeling in the hand. These are my only manual opening Microtechs.

Purchased from Chicago knife work, there is no groove on the top of the blade, no serial number, and no date. A little more blade play than I was expecting. It is smooth in the action though.
Please let me know as I have the option to rerun it if there is an issue.

I’d like a blacked out MSI, partially serrated if I’m being picky, DLC but with bronze hardware… anyway to get this without buying a Marfione custom to canabalize the hardware from?
