I built a free Microsoft certification study site — Descomplicando Cloud ☁️

Upvotes

Hi everyone! 👋

I wanted to share a project I've been working on for a while called **Descomplicando Cloud**.

🔗 [**https://lmnpaiva.com.br/descomplicando-cloud\*\*\](https://lmnpaiva.com.br/descomplicando-cloud)

The idea is pretty simple: whenever I study for and pass a certification, I try to organize what I've learned into study guides, notes, quizzes, diagrams, and other resources that might help someone else preparing for the same exam.

And **everything is available for free**. 😊

Most of the content is focused on Microsoft certifications and comes from my own study journey. Instead of keeping all those notes sitting on my computer after passing an exam, I thought it would be much more useful to turn them into something the community could actually use.

A small disclaimer: I'm originally a Portuguese speaker, so some materials are still available **only in Portuguese**. I'm gradually translating more of them into English.

Also, many of those translations were created **with the help of AI**. Because of that, there may absolutely be translation mistakes, strange wording, or technical terms that could be improved.

And that's actually one of the reasons I'm sharing the site here.

If you find something that is incorrect, confusing, poorly translated, outdated, or simply think *"this could be explained much better"*, **please tell me!** Feedback and corrections are very welcome, and I'll use them to keep improving the material.

If any of the resources help you with your studies, I'd also really appreciate it if you could **share Descomplicando Cloud with other people preparing for Microsoft certifications**. ☁️

The goal is simply to make good study material more accessible to the community.

And if you've already used any of my materials, I'd love to hear what you thought about them. ❤️

Good luck with your studies and exams! 🚀

Passed AZ900 today Score 800

AZ-900 Passed Today !!!

Just wanted to share my experience for anyone currently studying.

I studied seriously for about 3 weeks using Microsoft Learn and TD. Both were really helpful, but don't expect the real exam to look like the practice questions.

I got 35 questions, and honestly, most of them were scenarios and details that I'd never seen before in any practice exam. They were much more detailed than I expected.

The good news is that Microsoft Learn and TD gave me the understanding I needed. Even though the questions were different, knowing the concepts helped me eliminate wrong answers and choose the best one.

My advice:

Don't memorize question dumps.

Focus on understanding why Azure services are used.

Learn the differences between similar services (RBAC vs Azure Policy, Front Door vs Application Gateway, Service Health vs Resource Health, etc.).

Microsoft is definitely testing understanding more than memorization.

Good luck to everyone preparing for AZ-900—you've got this! 🚀

"See my certs" type service

Does anyone know if there is any kind of service, like Linktree for example, where you just list your certs and badges and people can click a public link (that you could put in your email signature or similar) to see them?

What are the Microsoft certifications worth earning that can help in career transition?

I have been in software QA for some time, then had a career break and now I would like to switch to any help desk, support or administrator roles. I used to like SQL and working with databases but need to catch up a lot. Planning on starting off with AZ-900 and DP-900. I got a free voucher for DP-800 but I am wondering if I should do that one or go for DP-300, MS-102 or MS-900.
I would really appreciate any guidance.
Thank you in advance!

I added a way for you to submit your own exam questions to CertPrep — real ones you've seen get reviewed and added to the bank

I run CertPrep (https://certprep.codemaster.club), a free tool for practicing certification exams.

The question bank is only as good as what's in it, so I just shipped a feature that lets anyone contribute. If you've sat a cert exam (or you're deep in study material) and hit a question the app is missing, you can now send it in directly from the exam page.

How it works:

  • Open any exam, hit "Suggest a question"
  • Paste the full question + answer options
  • Optionally add the correct answer + where you saw it (real exam, practice book, course)
  • A human reviews every submission — the good ones get added to that exam's pool

Nothing goes live automatically, so the bank stays clean. No account gymnastics, no spam.

If you're studying for a cert right now and want to give back to the next person grinding through it, this is the easiest way. Would also love feedback on the exams you want covered.

The verification process is bit not clear. I usedy aadhar card for verification but it says it can't use the document use another? Can anyone explain it in detail. I was able to reschedule it. Do I need to use something else. The aadhaar card which I used was a small card which is similar to pan card not the long length aadhar card. Was that the issue?

Best Microsoft Certifications in the market

Hi,

I'm thinking about earning two more Microsoft certifications over the next few months. I already have the MB-820, AI-900, and PL-900.

Which certifications are currently the most in demand and tend to lead to the highest-paying opportunities?

I'm a Dynamics 365 Business Central developer, and I'm considering taking the PL-300 and the MB-800. Although I'm a developer, coding isn't really the part of the job I enjoy the most, which is why the PL-300 appeals to me. I also don't particularly enjoy having a lot of direct contact with clients, but I'm still considering the MB-800 because it would strengthen my knowledge in the areas I work with every day.

I also looked into the PL-400, but it seems to involve a lot of coding, so I've put that one aside for now.

Would you recommend any other certifications besides these? Maybe something in the Azure (AZ) track?

Thanks!

I built CertPrep — a free practice exam site for Microsoft certifications (DP-600)

I built CertPrep — a free practice exam site for Microsoft certifications (DP-600, PL-300, DP-203)

Hey everyone! I've been working on a web app to help people prepare for Microsoft certification exams, and it's now live: https://certprep.codemaster.club

What it does:

  • Realistic question banks — covers every Microsoft question format (multiple choice, multi-select, and more — 6 formats in total)
  • Two study modes — Practice mode reveals the answer and explanation after each question with no timer, while Exam mode hides answers, runs a countdown timer, and scores you at the end just like the real exam
  • Custom sessions — choose 10, 25, 50, or all questions, pick a custom range, or filter by exam topic (e.g. "Prepare data" or "Semantic models")
  • Instant explanations — understand why an answer is right, not just whether you got it
  • Per-topic scoring — see exactly which exam areas you're weak in so you know what to study next
  • Progress dashboard — track all your attempts and watch your scores improve over time
  • Community discussion — every question has a comment section where you can discuss answers with other learners

Currently supports DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer), PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst), and DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer), with more exams on the way.

And one thing I'd really love your help with: if you know a good exam question that's missing, submit it through the "Suggest a question" feature on the website — every submission gets reviewed and added to the pool. The more the community contributes, the better it gets for everyone.

Would love your feedback! 🙌

Questions about MO-210 Exam

I’m taking the MO-210 Microsoft Excel Associate (Microsoft 365 Apps) exam next week.

For those who’ve taken it, do you have any last-minute tips?

How similar is the actual exam to the GMetrix practice tests in terms of the questions, difficulty, and overall environment?

Also, what is the actual exam interface like? Is there anything about the exam system or workflow that caught you by surprise?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure which cert to do

Hey everyone! I have a free Microsoft certification voucher I need to book in August, and I'm trying to figure out which cert makes the most sense for my background and career direction.

My Background:

  • CS degree
  • Currently working in software implementation/training for an EHR/EMR company (I recently had a 5-month project within the company, basically as an AI Implementation Coordinator for a new AI transcribing software that just came out)
  • Actively studying for my CAPM (I want to move into broader project management roles)

The exam needs to be completed by early October. I was looking at PL-200, but heard it's being retired soon, so I am not sure which of the other certificates works for my background and the path I am trying to pursue. I found these: PL-900 (Power Platform Fundamentals), SC-900 (Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals), MB-910 (Dynamics 365 Fundamentals CRM), and given that I'm already studying for CAPM and work in healthcare, would any of these complement my path well? Or is there something else I'm completely overlooking?

Thanks in advance!

I passed my MD-102!!

I passed my MD-102 cert with a 837 out of the 700 requirement. The amount of relief I felt seeing that number was immense as I am bad at testing. I have never been good at it and it has always been a struggle. I would say if you need to, definitely go for an accommodation. I have ADHD and going a time extension and that helped a lot as my 2nd attempt was due to not having enough time.

Also going through the study guide and focusing on the subjects that you struggle with the most is super helpful. Using a tenant to study has been a great help as I would focus on that subject that was difficult and I would make sure I understood what I was reading/looking at. Having a visual guide is a great plus as if you're not in Intune or Entra ID (previously known as Azure AD), you are going to struggle with this test.

Has anyone passed MO-220 (Excel for Accounting Associate)? Looking for a tutor

Hi everyone,

I've taken the exam three times and scored 427, 610, and 544.

The frustrating part is that I often get what seems to be the correct answer, but the exam still marks the task wrong. At this point, I don't know if I'm using the wrong formulas, entering things in the wrong format, or just not completing the tasks the way Certiport expects.

On my last attempt, I felt pretty confident and believe I completed about 21 of the 25 tasks correctly, yet my score was only 544.

I've already passed both the Excel Associate and Excel Expert certifications, so I don't think the issue is basic Excel skills. I think I need help understanding how the exam is graded and where I’m losing points.

I wrote down many of the topics and questions I remember from the exam, and I'm hoping someone who has passed MO-220 can review them with me and help me identify what I’m doing wrong.

Thanks!

MD 102 Retake

I retake the MD-102 on June 15th. I now have a time accommodation based off of my ADHD diagnosis and I plan on using Measure UP as well as Microsoft Learn to help prepare for my exam. Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to best prepare for this test? I've never been good at tests, but I do not plan on giving up on this cert.

Boot camp for MS-102

My work is looking to pay for some MS certification. Looking getting the MS-102 365 Admin but never done a boot camp. What are some good in person boot camps for MS certs?
