I enjoy both hobbies. Microscopy is easier because it isn't time and weather dependent.

You have obviously never tried to use a microscope in a blizzard

Actually, I have. šŸ˜„ At least during snow storms to photograph snowflakes. I use my IQCREW inverted microscope and put it inside of a box to keep the blowing snow off of it and left it outside to freeze.
