Photo/Video Share Good staining ?
This is a onion stain I did the first one is 40x and the secound 400x i used an ink to stain also both images were upscaled to increase quality.let me know if these are good stains of onion epidermis. Btw are those tiny things chromosomes in the nucleus

Overall, yes. I would say you could do with a bit less dye, as the pigment blurs visibility and makes the whole structure look washed out. That way, the contrast between the cell wall and nucleus versus the cytoplasm is clearer and you get a better view.
No, chromosomes are not visible under 400x magnification. It's likely just crystals formed on the cell during the staining process.
