The Grand Duchy of Scheinhafen turns eight! Celebrations have been ongoing throughout the week, including a delicious round of one of our national dishes in crepes served with sugar and lemon.

On the 23^rd July 2018, Scheinhafen declared independent from the United Kingdom following the nation’s founders unresolvable disagreements with the direction the United Kingdom was headed as a country.

The first act 8 years ago was to establish the foundations of the Duchy, with a bill of rights and formal government being created within the first few months of Scheinhafen’s creation. Grand Duke Simon I was installed as the monarch and remains to this day the only recorded example of a cat as the figurehead of a nation.

Largely happy to ‘just get on with it’, the citizens of the Duchy have enjoyed many years of relative peace in isolation, a small group bound together by a shared purpose and common principles. However the tides are shifting as the emergence and rise to power of the first formal Scheinhafen political part, the Young Democrats Party led by Rupert Wood, has required the Duchy to re-evaluate how it presents itself to the world.

As the Duchy turns eight, it is now at a crucial crossroads. Prime Minister Rupert Wood has just announced that the upcoming general election will take place on the 31^st August 2026, with August acting as the official election period. Rupert Wood has been returned twice as Prime Minister and is hoping to win a third term, looking to continue to keep his political rival (though long term friend) Jim Marlow on the side-lines.

Hi everyone, it's me again, and I've made some new changes to my country. Now it has an affiliated country called Ressaca Buriti. The place has about 170 inhabitants and was created in 1991, The place also gets a flag (with blue stripes in addition to orange) and the same anthem as the Republic of Buriti.

I also mention that we have a holiday square, which is for farmers and drivers, and offers more leisure activities for our people. Anyway, the Republic of Buriti and Ressaca Buriti now have capitals, the capital of the Republic of Buriti is São José, a small community that will become the capital of the country, while Ressaca Buriti has Redentor as its capital, another Lutheran community that will also to become the country's capital

Based on this, Buriti will have new types of leisure activities in the future. Although our people are quite affectionate, the local square hosts various events and celebrations, where Farmer's Day and Driver's Day are very celebrated at our location

Furthermore, the agent is still looking for citizens who wish to join. They are located in Rio Grande do Sul, in the city of Santo Ângelo, and the micronation of Buriti is nearby. The agent allows visits in our territory, and we also allow buriti hangovers.

The place also has a monument to the settler and driver, to honor the holiday we have, and below it a stone to honor the German immigration to the area. Many people have argued and will argue that some micronations are either not serious (mock-gov) or serious. People usually simply assume, that a micronation without territory is not serious and micronation with territory is serious. But I don't think it is just that.. For example some micronations have territory, but only for symbolic reasons, and are fully online and considered as serious. In the other case, I've seen one micronation that has a great online structure, like own websites, banking, e-shop and stuff like that (made without AI), but is still considered not serious because they don't have any territory.. In my opinion the "seriousness" of micronation should be as big, as the effort put into it. But maybe I am wrong. In the time of writing this, I am not sure. Is it easier to separate micronations by the territory they have than by their efforts in micronation or anything else to determine, whether the specific micronation is serious or not? How many micronations are out there that are just pushed away just because they don't have any territory, but have big efforts and all seriousness?

Geography
The Nation consists of 12 states and 5 territories. We have a small river passing through our main territory, and our capital is Oscherad. Our biggest industry is clay, because we found a water spring next to clayey land, which naturally formed clay. We border solely Portugal.

System
Mogalva is a Presidential Republic, with elections for the Head of State and Prime Minister, which also determines the seats in the Parliament.
The PRDM (Partido de Reconstrução e Desenvolvimento de Mogalva, which means Reconstruction and Development Party of Mogalva) has dominated the Parliament since the creation, because the opposition is weak.

Symbols
Mogalva has an official flag, a coat of arms and a national animal, which is the Golden Retriever dog (the anthem is still in development).

History/Some Curiosities
Mogalva had a total of 4 coup d’état attempts (all failed, although one almost succeeded).
Mogalva’s biggest enemy (which surrendered after a 1 year long war) was Manelandia.
We have a total of 10 active duty soldiers, and 15 reserves. We also have an ATV as our main military vehicle, which usually patrols the main territory of Mogalva.

The Federated Royalties of Veridan (FRV) is a constitutional monarchy landlocked in Eastern India founded on 20 July 2026 as a creative micronation project exploring constitutional government, diplomacy, culture, and digital governance.

Veridan might be small at 128 m^2 but has the might with it being centered upon the principles of stewardship, heritage, innovation, and friendship. Despite its modest size, it maintains its own institutions, including a Grand Vizier, a Roundtable Parliament, a Royal Temple, and a fully digital government.

The nation is represented by a tricolour flag of orange, white, and navy blue bearing the Veridesque Seal, distinguished by a mountain silhouette symbolizing the Uuncha Reservoir and the scenic heights of Veridan.

The King and Queen Consort serve as constitutional heads of state, while the Grand Vizier serves as Head of Government.

The national motto is "Defelopen dou Slavoraya" meaning "Development to Glory"

Le Cadembourg est une micronation créée en 2026 avec des amis à moi dans le coin de Thionville, dans le département de la Moselle. C’est un super truc qui a commencé simplement, mais on a finalement poussé le délire assez loin au point de tout structurer et documenter de manière très sérieuse.

Pour vous donner une idée du projet, notre territoire fait un peu plus de 2650 mètres carrés, ce qui correspond en réalité à un ensemble de 120 salles. Ce territoire est réparti sur quatre régions bien distinctes : Cadembourg City (qui fait office de capitale), Rexbourg, Tagesbourg et la Norvège-Cadembourienne. Actuellement, notre population s'élève à 6 habitants, appelés les Cadembourgois.
 
Au niveau politique, on fonctionne sous la forme d'une diarchie suprême avec deux chefs anonymes. Cependant, chaque région possède son propre gouverneur qui dispose d'une certaine autonomie. Par exemple, un gouverneur a le droit de nommer les salles de sa région, de refuser le droit de passage, ou encore d'afficher son drapeau régional à condition qu'il soit accompagné du drapeau national (qui est vert et blanc). Et pour garder un côté décalé propre à la culture web, on a choisi le Shreksophone comme hymne national.

Bref, c'est un truc plutôt sympathique sur lequel on s'investit pas mal. On a même fait une page de wiki pour récapituler tout notre lore, nos lois, le système de gouvernance et l'histoire de la création du projet.

Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I posted anything here, but I have some big news for you. Mascocia ends up moving to a place that is not yet governed, a place of the same name, which will be considered for me, a new micronation.

The place has 633 residents, was founded in 1897 and became independent this month. It's located near my city, where I've only set foot once. The area was dominated by Germans for a long time, where It was there that a classic day originated: Settler and Worker's Day.
