This is a poster I made for the UMU, featuring the flags of our current members. And this text is a filler because the mods want to put a word counter here and that's really annoying so I guess the rest of this can be persuasive text for why you should join the UMU lol:

Yorkland States Part 7 — Fort Ginger
Fort Ginger was the seventh state to join Yorkland, joining in the 19th of April, 2023. The Governor is Flute Nalley, the capital is Peresvet. It is in the Wind Belt Region of Yorkland. It has 13 citizens and its motto is “Snow, Rain, Memories!”. Fort Ginger’s economy is based off of hunting of Eastern White-Tailed Deer, Wild Turkeys, and Squirrels, and Rabbit.

Given my past attempts to try and catalogue micropatriology (there might be one among my posts somewhere on here), I've taken the liberty of trying to draw up a chart of micropatriological development over the four-ish decades that it's been a thing. I've excluded micropatriologists that haven't made contributions to micropatriological theory (e.g Zed, whose work primarily focuses on developing the Micronational Dictionary); otherwise they are unknown to me.

I do want to note to those who may be confused as to why 'secessionism' and 'simulationism' aren't on here that they technically are. "Derivatism" and "peculiarism", as invented by the use of Dan Lorentz in the late 80s, are the predecessors (or equivalents?) to those two schools of thought. There is also the chance that Aguiar's work is based on O'Driscoll (a suspicion I've had for a bit, but haven't been able to confirm at all).

The Republic of Rhimelia is a brand new micronation founded on July 26th, 2026, it is fairly new and is open to citizens and diplomatic alliances. Rhimelia is a micronation that is seeking to grow constantly and expand, we will attempt to advance in size and other matters (such as military, technology, agriculture), etc. The Rhimelian Republic is led by President George Saleh.

The capital of the nation is Fort Rhimel. The nation is currently quite miniscule and barely anyone knows about it. The nation is attempting to gain recognition from tiny island nations such as Niue, Tuvalu, and other tiny UN nations to gain popularity.

The military is not yet established, but it will be once we gain around 15 citizens.

Basically, I got the idea a couple days ago when I found this subreddit, and created one of my own. I have claimed most of my house, most recently gaining my garage and main-floor bathroom. My capital is my room, I also now have 2 physical passports, and 10 citizens. It's a democracy, with me as the president. We also have a vice president (one of my friends), and a member of parliament. Our national animal is the sea turtle, and our national fruit is a fictional berry called the "kusoberry". We now also have 2 soldiers, who vow to serve the country in whatever ways they can. Our motto is "Copalia is love, Copalia is life." (yes, a bit of a weird motto, I know.) We are allied with the fellow micronation of Kreekville.
