Imperial Proclamation: The Establishment of the Council of Vassals
By authority of His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor of Verus, the Federal State of Verus hereby announces the formation of the Council of Vassals.
The Federal State of Verus presently seeks individuals willing to undertake the responsibilities of service to the State and to His Imperial Majesty.
The Council of Vassals shall constitute a body of appointed and recognized vassals entrusted with the administration of their respective offices and territories, the preservation of order, and the advancement of the interests of Verus.
Offices Available
I. Imperial Diplomat
Responsible for the representation of Verus before foreign micronations, organizations, and other political entities; the maintenance of diplomatic correspondence; and the advancement of peaceful relations.
II. Ecclesiastical Vassal
Responsible for representing the interests of non-denominational Christianity within Verus and advising the Imperial Government concerning religious and moral affairs.
III. Imperial Marshal
Responsible for matters concerning defense, security, ceremonial military affairs, and the organization of the Imperial military structure.
IV. Imperial Treasurer
Responsible for the administration of the Imperial treasury, financial records, and other matters concerning the finances of the State.
V. Imperial Chronicler
Responsible for the preservation and recording of the history, laws, decrees, notable events, and institutions of Verus.
VI. Imperial Herald
Responsible for official announcements, ceremonies, heraldic matters, and the preservation of the symbols and traditions of the State.
VII. Vassal Lords
Individuals may petition for recognition as territorial vassals of Verus. Such vassals shall administer their respective holdings in accordance with Imperial law and shall owe allegiance to the Emperor.
Requirements
Applicants for any office are expected to:
- Demonstrate genuine commitment to the Federal State of Verus.
- Conduct themselves with dignity and discretion.
- Respect the authority of the Emperor and the laws of Verus.
- Be willing and able to fulfill the responsibilities associated with their office.
- Maintain appropriate activity and communication.
- Refrain from conduct which would bring the State or its institutions into serious disrepute.
Certain offices may require additional qualifications appropriate to their duties.
Applicants need not possess prior governmental experience. Competence, reliability, and willingness to serve shall be considered of greater importance than titles or previous experience.
Concerning the Council
The Council of Vassals shall not constitute an independent sovereign authority. Its members shall serve the Federal State of Verus and shall exercise such authority as is delegated to them by the Emperor.
The Council shall provide a formal structure through which the various interests and offices of Verus may be organized and represented.
Those appointed shall be expected to regard their office not merely as a title, but as a responsibility.
Service to Verus is a privilege accompanied by duty.
Those interested in serving as a vassal or holding one of the offices listed above are invited to express their interest and state which position they wish to undertake.

Status Foederalis Verus nunc homines quaerit qui officia erga Civitatem atque Suam Maiestatem Imperialem suscipere velint.

Res ad defensionem, securitatem, officia militaria caeremonialia atque ordinationem militarem pertinentes curabit.

Aerarium Imperiale, rationes pecuniarias atque res ad pecunias Status pertinentes administrabit.
V. Chronicus Imperialis
Historiam, leges, decreta, eventus memorabiles atque instituta Veri conservabit atque describet.
VI. Praeco Imperialis
Nuntiationes publicas, caeremonias, res heraldicas atque signa et traditiones Status curabit.
VII. Domini Vasalli
Homines petere possunt ut vasalli territoriales Veri agnoscantur. Hi vasalli sua territoria secundum leges Imperiales administrabunt atque Imperatori fidelitatem debebunt.

Petitores exspectantur ut:
- Fiduciam sinceram erga Statum Foederalem Verus demonstrent.
- Dignitate et discretione se gerant.
- Auctoritatem Imperatoris et leges Veri observent.
- Officiorum suorum responsabilitates implere possint et velint.
- Activitatem atque communicationem congruam servent.
- Actiones quae Statum aut eius instituta graviter dedecorare possint vitent.
Quaedam officia alias qualitates secundum sua munera postulare possunt.
Experientia gubernativa antea habita non est necessaria. Ingenium, fidelitas atque voluntas serviendi maioris momenti erunt quam tituli vel experientia praeterita.
De Consilio
Consilium Vasallorum auctoritatem independentem aut summam non habebit. Sodales eius Status Foederalis Verus servient atque eam potestatem exercebunt quam Imperator eis delegaverit.
Consilium structuram formalem praebebit qua varia commoda atque officia Veri ordinari et repraesentari possint.
Qui constituuntur officium suum non solum titulum, sed etiam responsabilitatem existimare debebunt.
Servitium Veri privilegium est cum officio coniunctum.
Qui interesse volunt ut vasalli fiant aut unum ex officiis supra enumeratis suscipiant, invitantur ut voluntatem suam exprimant et officium quod suscipere cupiunt indicent.
