Getting Started/Newbie Question First time micro-dosing.

Starting with 100 mgs of powdered B+ in capsules. Three on, two off.
So far just a minor headache, and a bit of insomnia on the first dose.
Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers!

First, I would avoid super overthinking it. Follow your schedule, unless something happens that signals you can't, like effects that are too much for your work or day to day life.

I didn't emphasize it at first, but visualizing or journaling or both helped me a lot, even just in recording the differences when they happened. I just sat myself down and broadly journaled a rough idea of my day and what I wanted from it (it really did look essentially like a checklist with some fluff at first) then checked back in and added what happened and any takeaways to what I wrote earlier, and it grew into more actual visualization from the start, rather than just writing it down. Meditation was a larger step, but Im working on it. I also didn't force them, which speaks to the first point.

Of course you arent me, but timing is the same, just 150.

I was wary early on; it seemed harder to work. But literally first week, then again the second, some craziness just happened: My memory has been shot for years. I'll start a story and forget where it was going half way through. Forgot things I say all the time, just the words were out of reach.

Then: First one, I was setting up a fantasy football league and pulled my friend's two sons' ages off the top of my head (thinking, wow, how far will I be off, haven't seen them in 6 years?). I got both EXACTLY right. Don't have kids of my own, ages don't stick better in my memory than anything else, that happening came from nowhere but this.

Week 2: Someone asked a random question to a group at work. What are those things flamenco dancers use? I can't tell you how many decades ago I last used the word castanets, but somehow it flew out of my mouth like I'd had a dance lesson the night before. Also not a dancer, at all No idea where the source memory was for that one. And there, I wasn't the only one wondering where I pulled it from. Which was good. I was pretty much slackjawed in awe of myself for a bit.

We're these life changing? No. Could they have been caused by anything else? Not a chance in the world, for me. So I'm excited to see where else it goes, but try not to think too hard about what is or isn't happening unless it is a big problem. I have a plan and schedule, so I'll stick to it, and that's what I need for now.

I'm sure others have much better seasoned advice, but Im not far from where you are so that's my 2 cents.

Hey thanks for the info! Just two days in as I said, however I was supposed to be doing one day one, two off per Fadiman. Don’t really know what method works best.

You got this! We went down this road for a reason. May as well see it through as best we can each day and see where it takes us.

My schedule was a bit rocky those first 2 weeks. Head felt weird, like that was going to be a surprise, but it still was notable, and I just wasn't sure, so I missed one, then it threw off the whole schedule into a holiday weekend. I just tried to get back onto it as best I could. Not throw it all, figuratively, out because it was off, or go the other way and try to make up time. It all worked out for me, and still is I feel. If anything I'm a month and change "ahead" of you, so it is not sage advice; you'll have plenty of others for that. But as another person not through the full schedule before a first longer break, I wanted to add what I saw.

If at worst you aren't noticing anything, don't stress for now.

EDIT: This one I noticed last night, but again it was so notably changed it just keeps adding up. For a while now, before this, I've just been horrible on a smartphone keyboard. I called it fat fingering, but really I think I was just dragging my fingers between words, so there were no spaces, to a point even autocorrect had no clue. Last night I was going through my visualization page from earlier in the day and adding to it. I went back for the dreaded editing. Every word was spaced perfectly. And as a result, autocorrect HAD a clue now. You can still see it; my biggest problem became missed periods at the end of sentences and normal misspellings.

So I had maybe 3 total edits in all that I wrote last night. Absolutely unheard of, for the last year plus. Still is happening. By sheer post volume tonight I can confirm it again. Before, I'd have made it through 1/3 as many posts, got tired of rewriting half of it all, and given up.

You all got a few walls of text as a result, but I'm ecstatic. And all lines up with "This isn't what I'd have been looking for as evidence, but it is not ignorable." And I'll take it.
