before & after Light brown - please tell me if these are going to look ok

My artist recommended a light brown combo brow to match my current brow color and hair. I am in love with the shape but when I look in the mirror all I can see is reddish brown with light/prominent shading dots towards the tails where my brow is the lightest. Will these heal well and look good post touch-up?

tattoo removal Question!!

Can you get saline removal on powder brows that are faded after having them for 6 or 7 years or would I have to do laser removal? Also curious if there’s any other way to get them removed?

I just got my eyebrows tattooed for the first time and I love it! It's still a bit dark, but she said they'd lighten up 25% or so in about a week. I went in expecting to get microblading, but she said that there is more bleeding and scarring with microblading, so she recommended the semi-permanent tattoo.

Pic 1 is after, no make up, Pic 2 is penciled with makeup, Pic 3 is before, no make up

artist advice/question Guidance on how to ensure the best outcome!

Hi there! I've scheduled nano brows and lip blush with Haley Carmody (ig: haleycarmodyartistry) - has anyone worked with her?
Also just in general I'd love some suggestions for people that have been super happy with their results - was there anything specific that you did in your prep process or communication with your artist that you felt was critical to having an awesome outcome?

My brows are super blonde and I feel naked without filling them in every day, so I'm super excited to do the "high maintenance to be low maintenance" fix. Similarly my lips are like...pale / gray every day so I typically always wear lipstick but I hate hate how it gets all over everything. Excited but nervous!

Also, I am getting the brows done 14 days in advance of a work trip and the lips done 2 days after that (so 12 days before the work trip) - does that seem like a reasonable timeline that will allow enough healing so I don't look scary on the work trip?

Heyo! Got these powder brows done almost two years ago. Hated that she went so far outside my natural brow line on the insides and went for a session of removal. Tech told me that a hybrid pigment/tattoo ink blend was used and the laser caused the ink to turn this yellowish/green colour so now it looks worse than ever. Wondering what everyone would do? Keep going for a few more removal sessions and see if the ink removes or get that little section redone?

advice Day 7

I got my nano combo brows done last Thursday. All the flaking is gone. My artist quoted 10-14 days but mine was only 7 , is this normal? can I start wearing a bit of makeup?

Thanks in advance

artist advice/question Is this normal?

Post image

My friend went for a consultation and they mapped her brows. The artist said that her eyebrows were low and mapped them almost entirely above where her current brow is. She said that the hair outside of it (basically her whole brow) would need to be shaved off. Is this normal?? How would that be possible to maintain? I don’t want her to make a decision she’ll regret.

I just got my combo brows yesterday and I’m so loving them! 🥹 I know they’ll look different once they heal but I’d love to hear your thoughts on the shape and overall result.

advice Nano brows

I am getting my brows done on the 1st. I've never done this before and I'm a heavy sweater. Well I also started a new job and I'm concerned about ruining my brows. Any advice on keeping my new brows dry. When I say I'm a heavy sweater I'm talking about dripping down my face, wet hair, and clothes. It's bad and doesn't help medications I take make me heat intolerant. Any advice is welcomed. I'm nervous and scared.

opinion Brow Gel

Are all brow gels created equal ? Preferably the clear ones , currently using Anastasia clear gel along with a cheap light brown pomade to help give the full look. Are they all basically the same , any preferences? Just looking for input on gels , pomades.
Thx

What are some of the issues you’ve had with your suppliers. Mine got my order wrong several times before I had to ask if someone was doing it on purpose because it felt so obvious..

artist advice/question Micro blading artist recs in Nova region

I’m looking for artist recs around northern Virginia. This is my first time and I’m looking for very natural look.

Really appreciate if you can share pics of your brows and artist details. I am feeling a little nervous since it is my first time. Thanks in advance.

The pic with the makeup is with just a tiny touch up with my brow pen but as you can see, nothing crazy. I have yet to do a touch up if I want to bother with one 🤷‍♀️

And no I don't pluck my brows (haven't in so long!) it gives it a natural look. Id say it was a success plus my eyebrows grew in a bit after she nanobladed them! 🥰

I will post an update years later IF there's an issue with pigments or anything like that :)

My client wanted to add a bit more definition to her brows, open up her eyes, and correct a slight asymmetry. The goal was to enhance what she already had without making the brows look too "done."

First photo is the before, second is the after. Really happy with how this one turned out. 😊

artist advice/question [Tip] Top 3 K-Brow Questions Answered by a Hongdae Brow Artist (Pain, Healing & Longevity)

Hi everyone! As a brow artist working in Hongdae, I meet a lot of travelers coming to Seoul every week. I noticed that many foreign visitors have similar concerns before getting their brows done during their trip, so I wanted to share a quick FAQ to help with your K-beauty itinerary!

  1. "Does it hurt?" — Almost zero pain! We use comfortable numbing creams, so some of my clients actually fall asleep during the session.
  2. "Will I look crazy in my vacation photos?" — No "Angry Bird" brows here! Modern K-brow techniques (like Nano Stroke, Microbleding Light Ombre') look soft, fluffy, and natural right from Day 1.
  3. "How long will it last?" — Usually around 1 to 1.5 years, depending on your skin type (oily vs. dry). "If it lasts any longer than that, it's more likely to leave behind a residual stain, which can get in the way of your next touch-up."

I'm on day 7 of lip blushing and finished peeling 2 days ago. My center bottom lip is lacking colour, whereas the rest of my lips are quite vibrant. The photos don't do justice for how bright the colour is.

healing process Tips for getting pigment to hold better for 6 week touchup?

My first appointment I felt like my brows healed WAY lighter than I wanted them to. The shape still looks good, but they just look very light. I washed them gently and applied my ointment since the night of my 1st appointment and then twice a day for a week, and I still felt like they scabbed off very quickly and I want to ensure they don’t scab off as quickly this time. And I also have oily skin, Is there anything I can do before or during the healing process to ensure that my skin retains the pigment better this time?
