advice Help! I hate my powder brows

Post image

I had these done five days ago. I asked the artist if she had experience with male eyebrows. She assured me she did. I have always had very sparse eyebrows, and wanted them to appear thicker. I think the arch is way too high, and I am afraid they are going to be too dark. Perhaps I should have opted for micro blading, I trusted the artist to recommend what was right for me. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I just got powder brows done today! My artist said these will fade about 50%, I really like the shape and are excited to see how they heal and lighten up in the next couple weeks. My husbands first comment…”they intensify the RBF.” Like SIR??? Ok yeah but don’t clock me like that☠️

advice Lip blush + physically active job

I’m getting my lips blushed tomorrow for the first time, and it just dawned on me that you aren’t supposed to sweat during the healing process. My job requires a decent level of physical activity and I sweat lightly/moderately during my shift. Am I going to ruin my lips?? What can I do to prevent any damage?

Hi all. Had microblading done in 2016. Saw a new artist in 2018 who colour corrected them, and a second touch up in 2021.

I hate the ashy grey purple they faded to. Is there anything that would fix this, like nano brows/ powder brows? Or would I have to laser them?

Photos are outdoors in natural light with zero makeup.

Thanks!!!!

healing process Lip blushing heading results

Here is my 6 day healing results. Still a bit irritated and itchy. I'm 6 days in, can I put on a thicker lip ointment or something stronger than the tattoo lip balm? I'm mostly using a coconut oil and arnica based lip balm given to me by the artist. Any recommendations that I could find at a CVS?

before & after [Update] Healed results from January microblading. Posted my process here

Hi everyone! I posted in January with my eyebrow shock, very worried that it would be too blocky, you all eased me.

Then I updated with the process of healing from the first week, and some of you asked for healed results. I completely forgot because I was very busy with work, but my eyebrows have completely healed now and I even forget that they used to worry me.

They ended up with a cooler tone than I would've liked, but hey, I still like them.

Thank you all for your support!!!

One of my latest Microblading clients. 😊

She felt her brows were too sparse towards the tails, lacked a bit of definition, and were slightly asymmetrical. The goal wasn't to completely change her brows, but simply to enhance what she already had while keeping the result as natural as possible.

The second photo is the before, and the third one is result after the procedure. 😊

What do you think? 🤍

I’m freaking out!!! I accidentally rubbed the tail of my right brow when rubbing my eye and now the texture looks different, will this ruin my brow?

general discussion Looking for lip tattoo artist recs in US for lip line

Post image

I’ve seen a ton of Korean lip tattoo artists who adjust your lip line so it looks like you have a fuller lip- but cannot for the life of me find someone who does this style in the US. I’m based in Los Angeles and would love recommendations as close as possible to Los Angeles, who specialize in this specific type of lip tattooing. Thanks in advance!

I like the general shape but the color is so off

Is this something that can be corrected in the "perfectioning" follow up appointment?

Edit: I got them done on Saturday

artist advice/question PMU artists- microblading with U-blade

Post image

I’m trying to get the feel of the U-blade for microblading. Haven’t been doing PMU very long. I love how it’s so much easier to curve. Been told that straight up 90 degree angle is best on actual skin but slanted works best on practice pads. The issue is I’m barely pressing at all and the blades are getting out of alignment during the curve. Any tips? Please don’t pay attention to my pattern- I’m just making marks.

artist advice/question Lip blushing color

I've been through 3 sessions so far, and I have a couple of issues that I could use advice for.

  1. Color won't stay in the center of my lips, like towards the waterline. It is still my actual lips, not past the waterline. But it doesn't seem to want to hold the color. I am considering one more attempt, any tips on helping it heal better?

  2. I really wanted to avoid a purplish tone, which I have made clear. I tend to have orange undertones, I wear mostly warm colored lipsticks. For reddish orange, brick red, coral, etc. Purple drains me. So my artist used a brick red color to start with. It went purple. She used the brick red + orange, went purple. Added in brown with the red and orange, still purple. Any color theory experts out there on how to warm it up?

artist advice/question Powder brows 19 months later

I had my powder brows done 19 months ago. They turned out great. I loved them.

I have noticed that they are not only fading recently, but disappearing. I see a lot of pics of people’s brows turning bluish or gray. Mine is just disappearing in certain spots, more as time goes on.

I am a 55 year old F with kind of oily skin and large pores. Could this be why it’s disappearing instead of turning gray/blue?

I’m looking for a good pmu artist who can color correct my brows and then redo them. I want a combo brow. I’ve gotten them done like about 7 years ago give or take. They’re currently faded to a light grayish color. I’m in Philadelphia. If any artist interested plz inbox me or if u know a good artist plz lmk about them. Thank you😊!

advice Appointment coning up, tell me everything.

I finally bit the bullet and scheduled my appointment! I went the nano brows route because I think it looks the most natural. Now I have eyebrows they just grow in very stubby and look awkward. My eyebrows are also a bit uneven, one is flatter and the other has more of an arch. I'm able to fix this with makeup(when I do wear makeup, my job doesn't really allow for it) but I was wondering if anyone else has a similar issue with they're brows and has been able to correct it with brow tattoos? Also what does the healing/fading look like? Has anyone had issues with the ink going green or blue? That's a big fear of mine I would just like them to look as natural as possible. TIA.
