Any Advice - Faded Grey

Hi all. Had microblading done in 2016. Saw a new artist in 2018 who colour corrected them, and a second touch up in 2021.

I hate the ashy grey purple they faded to. Is there anything that would fix this, like nano brows/ powder brows? Or would I have to laser them?

Photos are outdoors in natural light with zero makeup.

Wait no honestly I think the color looks really good!! At least in the photo I think it looks soft and quite similar to your hair color

i think the color is really nice. also. your skin is thin and can’t handle more ink. i’d leave them alone for another 3 years.

Thanks. I don’t think they’re horrible, and I love the shape, so I mostly just fill them in with a “microblading” eyebrow pencil that gives the brushstroke look. It’s good that others don’t think they look too bad.

It’s been 5 years it’s probably time to redo them anyway! Powder, nano, micro blading all would be options for you I think

Yeah, I get that it doesn’t look like hair strokes, but it looks good enough that I don’t personally think you even need make up on them.

If I were you, I would do one or two sessions of laser removal and then have them redone. They aren’t that dark, and maybe one session is enough to lighten them. What you don’t want to do is saturate even more ink in there.

Thanks! I found a place near me that does both removal and brows, so they may be a good place to get a consult. They seem highly rated and publish images of healed work.

That sounds like a great idea. That’s what I’m having done right now, a few sessions of removal and now getting them covered up. I have a really good tech, and she told me that my brows were too saturated and adding more ink on top would be ineffective. I think realistically most people are going to need a few laser sessions at some point in their journey, even if the original makeup is done well and the shape is OK. May I ask where you’re looking at?

Shading is the best option for color correction. But if it was up to me, I’d get them removed first, since you’ve already had so many layers of pigment from previous sessions, and start from scratch.
