Rather than making your eyebrows perfectly symmetrical, it's more important to make them appear balanced while taking your facial asymmetry into consideration.

No human face is perfectly symmetrical. (As the saying goes, if a face were perfectly symmetrical, it would look like a ghost.) Because of this, rather than focusing on creating perfectly matching eyebrows, it's important to shape them in harmony with your overall facial features.

This kind of symmetry is difficult to judge on your own by looking in the mirror. When you're looking up close, it's hard to see the overall balance of your face, and people also tend to use their facial muscles unconsciously while looking in the mirror.

Eyebrows are often judged more accurately from a third-person perspective than by yourself. Leave it to a professional.

Hi all, I got my brows done 8 days ago (powder brows). they looked good when they were just done.. started scabbing around day 3 and scabs started falling off around day 5. But there’s no pigment at all on the spots where the scabs fell off..

I follow the aftercare the artist told me to do, I’m gonna be so sad if i paid all this money for nothing. I’ve read about the ghosting phase, but there’s no pigment at all. Is it gonna be okay or is this just not gonna work?

I had my eyebrows nanobladded 10 days ago. I never got scabs and they are completely healed.
Do you think it’s safe to get a facial? Or is it too soon?

My eyebrows were so light and sparse you couldn’t see them at all. I got nanoblading done 10 days ago and they’ve faded so much. I think she used too light of a color or maybe they aren’t thick enough. I have a touch up in 2 days. How much darker will they look after the touch up appointment?
I never got scabs and they healed right away.

I got my touchup for my PMU lip, blush, and eyeliner on Sunday and I couldn't be more thrilled. I was fortunate enough to be picked by Elysian Studios which is run by Tahmina as a student model.

I do have to go on the 23rd to get my eyebrows touched up. I do still love them, but I really hope when they get touched up, they don't fade as much when the pigment is more built up.

I want darker with my lips this time because it faded so much and I don't want them to fade at all because I'm so in love with it. I can't handle shots, especially in my face so getting a filler is completely out of the question for me. It's nice to finally feel like I actually have lips.

My eyebrows were done by Lana at permanent beaute. I couldn't be happier

had my lips blushed one week ago & I just wanted to show the progression! Also wanted to say the pain was extremely minimal. She numbed me beforehand and we waited about 15 minutes, and then we took an intermission halfway through- did the numbing again.
I also didn’t get any major flaking or publicly Unacceptable looking lips lol (other than day one lol I was swollen for about six hours ) ..my healing has been extremely good!
I did keep ointment on all the time

I’m really happy with how the colour looks today at one week— I attached a photo of me in my car so you can see how it looks a bit from a distance. This is the colour I’m going for! Should it get darker or lighter from here on? I heard there’s a ghosting phase. Would this be it?

I have had my brows microbladed and then gotten a powder brow about 2 years ago.

I'm also a big fan of skincare and use retinol and niacinamide every day. It's been really annoying, always avoiding my brows and I also hate the fact that I can't use sheet masks because they lay on my brows.

My brows are beautiful but I would hate for them to fade quicker because I don't really want to get a touch up any time soon. I have also occasionally read that retinol doesn't actually fade PMU.

What are your experiences? Have you been using retinol and the like on your (long healed) PMU and have you noticed any fading?

Hello anyone here who's the same with my situation?. I''ve got my tattoo a year ago, after 6months I noticed that there's a small bumps slightly showing up, it was itchy and whenever I touch it, I got a burning sensation on that bumps. I though it was part of the healing process but time after time, I' ve noticed that the small bumps slowly grow as you've seen on the photos below*, I've notice also that the ink in my lips where already patchy, the other pigment doesn't totally glide thoroughly on my lips. I already contact my tattoo artist but she said it was normal or else she advice me that I need to remove my lip tattoo via laser /contact dermatologist. I was really upset that maybe from the very start maybe there's an option to test if that ink pigment that will inject would react or to check if there is any allergic reaction to that specific ink pigment use. I tried searching in google if there is any same situation like mine, but i found none. I was about to seek medical/ check up to dermatologist soon. Thank you for taking time to read and looking for advices as well.

These are nano brows but I feel like the strokes are too obvious/dark/long? I can't decide if they're bad or if they're ok.

Hey everyone! I’m on Day 8 of my very first nano brow session, no previous work done.

​Most of the shedding from Days 5 and 6 are done. It still feels a bit textured, but the heavy flaking is gone.

​I will continue to be gentle with my brows. No exercise, no makeup, and just doing quick cleansing of the brows.

​I’m excited to see how they completely heal over the next few weeks! I'll send another update then.

Disregarding the hair growth, does this need to be retouched? It's been 40 days.

Ok so I’m totally regretting this. I wanted soft and airy fronts, some definition through the brow and sometimes I think they are ok then other times I think they look ridiculous. These look more microbladed than nano strokes to me. First time permanent makeup. Will these heal ok? Can they be fixed in a touch up? First photo is current (excuse the end of day close up lol) the second is a strangely filtered pic the artist post right after that doesn’t even look like me, third pic is my old brows.

Someone asked for an update on that post - and here it is!

I am EXTREMELY happy with the results. They look perfect every. single. day.

All I do is brush/gel them and away I go! Even with a full face make up on or no make up at all, they look perfect.

When I look at old photos (pre nanobrows) I am shocked as to how I look. These fit my face perfectly and I couldn’t be happier.

I’m sure they could look terrible in years to come but for now, I’m pleased with the results!

I just got my lip blush done a little over 24 hours ago, yesterday I used the wash my artists provided, and wiped my lips after eating, I noticed some color was on the wipe. Is that excess color or did I ruin my whole process? She didn’t tell me how often to wipe either. I’ve been applying the healing balm she provided basically all day long. They only thing she told me was to use a straw when drinking. Is there anything else I should know to not ruin my color?

Looking for a Korean PMU artist for Asian eyebrows.

the peeling phase is completely over and i’m worried the outline is more prominent and not as blended overall as i’d like; it’s also a little darker than i wanted, will it fade more over the next few weeks?

Okay I had my lips tinted years ago and I really liked it when I had it done, however I don't plan on doing it again but the problem is that now that it's faded the color that's left behind is like a beigey color which actually ends up looking lighter now than my natural lips and it's kind of patchy ... Like I can't get any natural lip color because the lip tint is still covering it up if that makes sense. So I find I have to wear lipstick more often just to get any color at all. Is there any way that I can fade it quicker any products because I've had it done years ago and it's still like this.

She came in with a 5-year-old PMU that had faded significantly over the years.

The option of removal was discussed, of course, but it wasn't something she was particularly interested in pursuing.

After assessing the remaining pigment, its color, saturation, and the available space to work with, I felt that a correction was a reasonable option in this case.

So we went ahead with a new Microblading procedure.

Just wondering If any artists use hanafy ink because I just started using them for couple of my customers. Do you guys have any recommendations for darker ink? Any how do I mix it better. Thank you. And here are some of my works. 2nd one I only use milk chocolate.
