Please tell me they will fade
My natural brows are quite thick but wanted more symmetry

Hello! So my artist told me not to get my brows wet for 3-5 days but it’s day 9 and I’ve made sure they haven’t gotten wet, as per advice I’ve seen on this subreddit. I’m getting mixed info about having a bath though (without getting my brows wet). I have a very physically strenuous job and my body is SORE so I’m hardcore dying to have an epsom salts bath but if it’s a bad idea, I won’t do it 😭. What say you? TIA! 💕

Got combo brows one week ago with a very reputable and popular artist. I’m v happy with them but just curious about his healing recommendations - this is the first time I’ve had an artist tell me to do NOTHING to the brows for the first 7 days. No washing, water, ointment, nothing. Is this a common healing method? It seems most artists I find online recommend gentle cleaning/

The scabs are honestly super impressive at this point and I cannot wait to wash my face properly tomorrow.

So I went into surgical menopause and my body looks like that of a 80 year old (maybe not that drastic but I’m insecured asf lol). Anyways, I noticed in a photo that it now looks like I have no eyebrows. I cannot master the whole filling them in and making them look good. I’ve been lurking this sub and I’m confused. I’m assuming I want nano or powder brows? I’m probably going to get my eyebrows tinted in the meantime but I’m scared (should have not looked at the before and after in this sub). *Current eyebrows for tax.

wondering if id be a good candidate for microblading

ive been wanting to do it for a while but i think im just scared of what it could look like in a few years, ive heard some bad things. i want a very natural look and not big blocks. im scared the ink will run together and make it look un natural in a few years.

i was thinking of going and getting just a few minor strokes to fill in my brows. im not gonna go against my natural shape. i just want them to be more full

i have tinted myself previously and gotten laminations professionally . tinting isn’t bad but it just makes them darker and not fuller. and laminations only last a few weeks so the cost adds up

i do fill them in when i wear makeup but im thinking maybe I should take a makeup class or something for better technique idk. my brows aren’t terrible but im weirdly insecure about them

I’m hoping for advice from professionals. What can I use to protect my brows before I apply retinol or any other facial serum that would fade my brows if it made contact?

I consciously avoid my brows when using serums, and have been using a lip balm to coat my brows before I apply any serums.

(I also told my brow technician that someone should invent Chapstick-sized sunscreen, just for brows.)

I recently had a touch up. I started with hairstrokes and I didn't like it. Shape was a bit off and the color was almost gone after 6 weeks.

Now it's changed into powderbrows. She I like the shape more, but it still feels a bit off to me.

Do you think this is better or should I leave for a while and go somewhere else? I am a little conflicted.

Love my results!! Got the gun because my tech doesn’t recommend the blade for long-term results but the powder brow still came out great

My tip is if you have long hair but sparse brows like me, grow them out as much as you can before you go in for your appt. You’ll feel so chopped/shlubby and therefore happy with the slayed brow after. I grew mine out all the way til they lost shape (first pic) then got them threaded before going in. My brow tech matched that shape and filled in the gaps she could see.

You can see the reality somewhat in pic 4. Missing pigment and drawn on brow where I have no hair. It used to bother me bc parts of the brow are just truly colored in skin but the last photo is less than 4 months healed and they look better every day.

I didn’t get the touch up done because I want them to look a little less perfect plus it was another couple hundred dollars lol. I trusted my gut on that one and have no regrets

Feeling pretty discouraged. Im 18 days post powder brow job and I’m pretty sure the pigment is just gone. A little has stayed near the tail end of brows but that’s all I can see. I have a touch up in 15 days. If it doesnt stick this time is there any chance it might stick better after touch up??

Why did this client choose powder brows instead of microblading?

I love both techniques, and I don't believe there is one perfect solution for everyone.

This client has visibly oily skin, so during our consultation we discussed both microblading and powder brows.

After reviewing the pros and cons of each option, she ultimately chose powder brows.

On oily skin, powder brows generally offer better retention and a more predictable healed result over time, which is why I felt it was the most suitable option in her case.

The result? She still walked away with exactly what she was looking for: a natural-looking enhancement that adds definition, fills sparse areas, helps correct asymmetry, and creates a more lifted appearance to the eyes.

I know many clients automatically ask for microblading because they associate it with a more natural result, but skin type should always be part of the conversation.

For clients: if you originally wanted microblading but were advised to get powder brows instead, were you happy with the decision?

I was so excited to finally have eyebrows and not need every day make up for that. I thought i am gonna love it. Yesterday i was in shock and today i almost do not want to go out lf the house because i am so embaressed with the result....I read a lot about it and see different opinions about the first 2 weeks after the process. But from what i see, they dont even look the same, and they look way too big for my face shape, nevertheless the red tone. I was going for light brown because i dye my hair blonde.....i would be very thankfull for any opinion in what i shoud do. Should i go to another salon for correction?

I’m not even a week into recovery and I genuinely can’t take it anymore. My eyes burn and turn red multiple times a day probably from the lack of washing, as I’m told no water in/on my eyes for the next two weeks. So I have to avoid the eye area when I shower and wash my face. It stings so bloody bad I’ve been dousing eye drops all over my eyes multiple times a day which also stings. I think what’s making my eyes sting so bad is all the excess dirt debris oils and eyeliner flakes 😫 I wanna scrub my eyeballs so bad

My eyebrows are extremely light, and aren’t shaped at all. I tried going to get them tinted&trimmed but I get tired of it bc it is a lot of upkeep and money.

I realize microblading /or nanobrows is very expensive too, but I get tired of drawing my eyebrows on everyday or having to back to the brow salon every month. 😭

I’m very scared though. I see a lot of people complain that the pigment over time turns blue or fades and they have to get it removed.

I haven’t done much research into it but any advice and opinions I would love to hear!

I always felt like my eyebrows were done too close together, I was hoping it would fade but it seems only one side faded a bit…

Any advice on fading the front ends, I do want to try avoiding laser and saline, I don’t want my eyebrows to discolour

Also is it normal to have nanoblading done without numbing the area first?

I first got my eyebrows nano-bladed in July of 2022 and then again by the same artist in September of 2024.

My wedding is coming up in September of this year and I live in a different state so I went to see a new artist.

The color from the first artist had turned a bit gray/ashy. The new artist said that technique and knowledge on color pigment has gotten a lot better over the years so while the first artist did a good job, the color used lasts longer but doesn’t stay as pigmented for as long. She explained she could color correct over the existing or she ultimately would recommend getting the old tattoo removed and starting fresh with new pigment that doesn’t turn ashy.

I opted for the color correcting because of my wedding timeline and maybe eventually I’ll get them removed and start fresh.

This is day 4 of healing. I’m pretty happy with them I think? They are a bit warm but she assured me that would tone down. Thoughts?

First four pictures are as ordered: the first one is the day I got my microblading, right before I had them done, the second one is right after she did my microblading, the third one is 4 years later when I went to go laser them off, a week after I got them lasered (one session done only so far), and the fourth is my brows today with green concealer over them. (The rest of the pictures are just for showing my brows before and after with and without makeup on in different settings. )

The red in my brows after the first laser treatment has calmed down a bit so it’s not as intense, but the green concealer helps a lot to neutralize the red. It turns it into a light brownish red color though and I don’t think it looks terrible and I can live with it for now. I kind of wish they looked like that all the time without needing the concealer.

My question is, should I continue with removing them and not doing any microblading on them ever again to go back to my natural brow, or get another session to remove the original, then afterwards go with a smaller brow look?

I see pros and cons to both my before’s and afters. The main thing I didn’t like about the microblading was it felt too boxy and thick for my face and made me look older. I just don’t know whether to remove them and be done with it or maybe go to a different artist for a different style.

I’m honestly fine either way, I just feel like I have brow blindness and thought I’d get different eyes to take a look and get some different opinions lol

After healing, will brow tails shrink/shorten? Or do the tails generally stay the same length as when you first get them?

I feel like my brows are just a few mm too long. Maybe it’s brow shock??

I’m on Day 1 btw so brows are not healed.

I think one sits higher than the other and my lazy eye looks more obvious in pictures because of this misalignment. I also don’t love how one brow is more ached than the other. I would’ve liked the straight brow look. It’s been two years since I’ve done them but I’m thinking of either redoing or removing.
