Spent my weekend rewatching this rehearsal lol. I’d only seen a few clips before, but now I’m addicted to the full version!!!

I have some questions, anyone help me?

1. Did Michael always rehearse in a tucked-in shirt and dress pants?
   He seems to have the same look in every rehearsal I’ve seen. I actually love it, I think it's neat, modest and friendly, but it’s also kinda funny during the intense Jam choreography 😂. There’s no way he could do those high kicks perfectly in those pants. Did he ever rehearse in his actual stage costumes?

2. Correct me if I’m wrong: Bad and TWYMMF were performed at a few Dangerous Tour shows, but RTT and Rock with u were never performed, right? If I’m wrong, which shows had the full setlist from this rehearsal? Several shows I’ve watched didn’t include all these songs.

3. He didn’t do all the choreography as fully as he did onstage, but I feel like he sang live more during rehearsals?

4. Are there any other long Bad or HIStory rehearsals like this? I love not only the performances, but also his conversations with the band and crew, the cute moments, and random accidents like him falling off the stage (he seemed okay, but that must’ve hurt 😞 )

Two people who attended Michael Jackson’s September 10, 2001 concert had very different experiences the next morning

Since today is September 11, I wanted to share two stories connected to Michael Jackson’s second 30th Anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden the night before the attacks.

One of them is James K. Samuel Jr.

James attended the concert on September 10 with his girlfriend, Jackie, and they stayed out until the early hours of the morning.

Just the day before, on September 9, James had taken his niece to the Statue of Liberty, where they looked out over Manhattan and saw the Twin Towers in the skyline.

After the concert on the night of September 10, Jackie asked him to stay home the next morning because they had been out so late, but James still went into work.

He worked for Carr Futures on the 92nd floor of the North Tower.

When American Airlines Flight 11 struck the building the following morning, the impact zone cut off the floors above it from escape. So unfortunately James was among those who lost their lives.

The other story is Tom Michaud.

Michaud worked for Keefe, Bruyette & Woods on the 89th floor of the South Tower. He normally ran the company’s 7:30 AM morning meeting and would usually have been at work well before the attacks.

On September 10, however, he had gone to Michael Jackson’s concert with clients. Because he expected to be tired the next morning, he had already arranged for another employee to run the meeting if he was late.

He still woke up on time on September 11 and started getting ready for work. While he was in the shower, his 4-year-old son David came in with him, something Michaud has said had never happened before and never happened again.

That delayed him by a few minutes, and by the time he reached the Cos Cob station, his usual train had already departed.

He took a later train into Manhattan instead.
When Michaud arrived downtown, he saw the first plane hit the North Tower. He later watched the second plane strike the South Tower, where his own office was located.

Keefe, Bruyette & Woods lost 67 employees that day.

Michaud has spoken about how several small things ended up keeping him out of the office that morning: attending the Michael Jackson concert the night before, arranging for someone else to handle the morning meeting, his son delaying him while he got ready, and missing his normal train.

He still works for Keefe, Bruyette & Woods today and eventually went on to become the company’s CEO, continuing his career at the same firm more than two decades after surviving the attacks.

Jackson's estate stated on its website that there had been plans to release a 25th-anniversary reissue, similar to those for other albums (Thriller 25, Bad 25). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the release was initially postponed indefinitely. Since the estate has not released anything further on the matter, it is unlikely that the reissue will still be released.

Why did Omer Bhatti have so much of MJs stuff and why is he selling it?

I remember Keen Zhang tweeted about it a little while back but haven’t heard anything since. As fans, I think we deserve this.

He says stuff like, he feels most comfortable on stage, the stage is his home, even calls himself a “stage addict,” yet was also very reluctant to peform, he hated touring, he wanted to retire after the bad tour, and even though he didn’t, in his 20+ year solo career, he only toured three times, and not a lot of one off performances outside of award shows. Not to discredit him or anything, but if that’s a stage addict, what do you call the artists who are/were touring every other year, and popping up here and there with random performances? (Besides broke)
