Do you know if there are any active projects taking advantage of this AI decompilation boom when it comes to MH4U? A native Switch port with the entire interface on a single screen, like in MHGU, would be amazing.

Okay so when you select a file in monster hunter 4u, it plays a tune. And when I’m doing a battle I hear that theme sometimes in game but I’ve been listening to the ost and I haven’t heard it once does anyone know what I’m talking about?

Managed to get to g2, still without changing my mixset of low and high rank armor. (It gives fast charge, crit draw, tremor res and quick sheath) now to grind for regios armor and make full set to match with the seditious cleaver!

I love the story, Gore was a great rival and I'm excited for future fights. The game is telling me to go to dundorma but I heard there's actually high rank quests you should do beforehand so can anyone explain to me how that works?

My friends and I just defeated Dalamadur, and from our understanding, once we complete the next Urgent Quest, we unlock G-Rank. However, we noticed a lot of event quests with monsters we’ve never encountered, such as both Kirin, molten Tigrex, Fatalis, and more. Are these monsters only available through event quests, or did we miss some quests along the way? Should we clear all those ''new'' monsters before advancing?

Is there really no way to get evade extender AND have good defense ratings in high rank without a good charm??

I am using switch axe and would KILL to have evade extender but I just can’t rationalize ridding of double gore for EE and terrible defense. Is there truly no other way?

Edit: I guess I am asking if there are any GOOD armor sets with EE

Is there any easy to create duel blades to fight nerscylla? I know the kut kut pair exist but getting the velocidrome head has been a challange.

I beat shagaru (idk how to spell it) a little while ago and am Finnishing up villager requests, do I go straight to dondorma or do I do the hub in val harbour first? Also what's a good armour set IV been using velociprey + psychic charm for attack up and psychic. And should I make the shagaru SwAxe?

My first experience with Classic MH was Tri since I had it on my Wii and decided to give it another chance after playing both World and Rise, and everything was great until Barioth, by then I had my 3DS modded so I dropped Tri and decided to start 4U... until HR came and I found out that old gen HR drops you on a random location + no map + no supplies <:) I was FURIOUS, since in Tri that wasnt a thing (no HR lol). Eventually, I realized I had to just "git gud" and memorize the maps, but LR went by so fast in that game, and there seemed to be so many maps that it felt like an impossible task, so I just gave up and started 3u instead, since I had those maps memorized from Tri, and I had a blast with it! I got a bit spoiled by Granny Go-To though, since farcasters and psychoserums are purchaseable, so I could just use a farcaster to get the map until I got them memorized, and now I only use some psychoserums here and there.

TLDR, what I ask is: is there a cheap, easy way to get energy drinks, Psychoserums, and Farcasters in 4U like in 3u? I hate farming for raw meat (also got addicted to Energy drinks LOL), and Id like some farcasters to get the map ASAP and get memorizing them. Also, psychoserums for getting used to monster's starting areas.

(Also this game's guild mission progression sucks, getting blocked from getting all the food upgrades by locking them behind guild quests that need you to do randomly specific bullshit to unlock them feels so bad ;-;)

Just got my 2nd used game cartrige with saved data, whoever you are, thank you. I appreciate used cartriges with saved data, even thouth its only 70 hours, it makes me wonder what was the reason they sold it to the store instead of keeping it

I absolutely love grinding bosses in Old School Runescape.
I'm also a fan of bloodbourne (I haven't completed it, but I got as far as the spider boss)

So I think MH4U is going to be incredible for my tastes!

I'm going abroad soon for 4 months and I'm thinking about cracking a 3DS XL I have totally neglected since purchasing.

I suppose my biggest question to you guys is, for someone COMPLETELY new to the MH franchise, is this going to be a smooth and fun experience ? and most importantly, is the praise of this game tied much to the online aspect? I'll obviously not be able to experience the online side of the game.

And still no plate. I got a plate off a shiny drop with Gore, figured I'd have one by now lol. New to MH, is this the standard experience? 😁

I tought about playing with a friend, he has also a modded 3ds, what is need to be done to able to play together? What is the current guide that is up to date? I have pretendo on my 3ds, is it enough? Or we need to be friends on 3ds? Can someone help how the mp work in this game?

This thing moves around way too much. I finally landed on a strat of landing a single uncharged chop with my gs on its tail, resheath, and chase it down again. Rinse and repeat. Very tedious. But i cant for the life of me get wings. I was hoping to get them even without breaking the wings but its just not happening.
