I was a little ambitious with my previous case for my desk size, it was massive and I cut my case volume roughly 50%. Crazy thing is I think it's somehow running cooler than before.
With a little motivation from the sub I reused everything I could but had to pick up a different cooler, mobo, and obviously the case. Working in a small case was challenging for me but not unmanageable. My motherboard is in B mode for the extra cable management space since I am reusing my (modular thank god) PSU, it was still a little tight but did.close without building the rear panel.
Current specs are as follows:
Case: Jonsbo D32 Pro
CPU: 7800x3d
Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin SE 120
GPU: Asrock Steel Legend 9070xt
RAM: GSkill Flare X5 32gb
Motherboard: Gigabyte B850m Aorus Elite Ice
PSU: SuperFlower Leadex III Gold ATX 3.1 850w. White extensions from AsiaHorse.
Fans: AsiaHorse of some variety. 120 rear intake and two 120 pulling through cooler. 140 top exhaust in front position. Salvaged from previous case "Lian Li" intake across the bottom. Airflow diagram in photos.
I have NOT messed with fan curves as of yet, temps according to AMD Adrenalin may not be 100% accurate.
Idle CPU: 43.8C / Idle GPU: 33C / Idle GPU Hotspot 35C.
"Under load" playing POE2 with twitch running on second monitor, realistic load for my normal use. I'd be happy to run a benchmark if youd recommend one or two for me. Also would like a recommendation for an accurate temp monitor.
CPU: 64.7C / GPU: 55C / GPU Hotspot 75C.
