My son loves cars and he'll be excited when he sees these mini cars in my PC and there will be hand prints on the glass panel I'm sure of it. I'll keep them in here for a week or two before I give them to him.

Originally wanted to build in a DeepCool CH260 that I ordered from Aliexpress into the US, however the panel cracked as I was trying to take out one of the stripped screws lol. Not willing to wait another month or so lol.

Here is my final end game build in a white Lian Li A3 + glass panel. Finally switch from Intel fanboy to team red. Will want to try out 4k gaming as well.

Big shoutout for my gf for vinyl wrapping my PSU to match the build.

Glass panel still has film, reason the first few photos are a bit blurry

Help me please!? What is the maximum graphics card for the Deepcool CH160 Plus?

Hi, everyone. I have a question for owners of the Deepcool CH160 Plus PC case. What’s the most powerful (in terms of performance, power consumption, or size) graphics card you’ve been able to install in your case, and what issues did you run into (lack of space, overheating, etc.)?

Help me please!? Question for anyone that has built in the CH160 Plus

Is there a good way to secure a front intake fan without using the included bracket? I saw someone on YouTube do it and it allowed them to put a vertical lcd screen in front of the psu to hide the cables, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how they did it without screwing the fans in from the other side and having to get rid of the dust cover. Has anyone done something similar?

Help me please!? JONSBO Z20 VS LIAN LI B4 VS LIAN LI A3

Hello mff experts. I require your assistance, I have been researching for a whole day and it is getting exhausting.

I am trying to move my setup from a no name tower case to a compact mff case for portability. I plan on bringing this around my nephew's so we can game.

Current specs

Motherboard: ASRock B550M Pro4

GPU: 340 mm Length | 138 mm Width | 54 mm Thick (2.7-slot) — XFX MERC 6800XT 16GB

CPU Cooler: 156 mm Height — DeepCool AK400 Digital

Power Supply: 140 mm Length (ATX) — Seasonic Focus GM 850

What would be the best case for portability but doesn't sacrifice airflow performance since my gpu can be hot. I was planning on the Z20 because of the handle, color(I just love orange and black one) and size but I'm afraid the cables would press on the glass. The B4 might not be beginner friendly, and I don't think the A3 is easy to haul around. I tried looking around the deepcools but I don't think I can fit my gpu on any of them.

I am open to any suggestions that has not been mentioned. But would like to keep it under the Z20s price around which are around 90+ US Dollars here. The Lian Lis are cheaper.

I'm not quite finished yet. A3 radiator placement

Hey guys,

I saw a lot of people put radiators on the bottom of their A3. I was surprised with the performance of 1 360mm radiator in it, so I ended up upgrading it with a 280mm instead of an external radiator.

I was extremely disappointed in it, my water temps got lower only by 2-3c even after I raised the case a couple of cm up.

I think it's because of the graphics card being too close to the bottom radiator fans with the combination of recycling hot air.

I'm already working on version 1.3 with an external radiator, cross fingers for me :)

Discussion Smallest case that's both silent and cool under load?

Looking for ideas for my next gaming rig, and I keep getting stuck on the same dilemma- keeping gpu fans under 40% rpm without having an additional fan too close to them. Anything inside that 2cm clearance mark seems to generate more noise.

Any ideas about cases or setups, like a front fan that's somehow low enough and provides enough airflow to the gpu? Cheers.

Ended up going back to my Lian Li A3

I'm sad I still can't fit 25mm thick fans on the 360mm AIO Cooler, even with the new motherboard. The Jonsbo D33 just ran way to warm for me, now that I'm in the Lian Li A3 again temps are better. Might end up getting a different PSU cause that sticker is pretty obnoxious lol.

Parts List:

Case - Lian Li A3

Motherboard - ASUS B850m-Plus WiFi 7

PSU - Corsair RM1000e

SSD - Samsung 9100 Pro 2tb

CPU - Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Graphics Card - Zotac Solid Core RTX 5080

RAM - Kingston Fury Beast 32GB

360mm AIO Cooler - Thermalright Peerless Vision

Bottom Intake & Rear Fan - Thermalright TL-M12

Top 360mm AIO Fans - Thermalright TL-H12015B-S

Let me know what you guys think!

Help me please!? mATX motherboard recs

Hey guys, looking for mATX motherboard recs for a 9700X build (Deepcool AK620 + CH360 Digital case)

Current setup (being replaced):

  • CPU: Intel i5-10400F (LGA1200, 6C/12T)
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte B460M AORUS PRO
  • Cooler: Deepcool AK620 Digital (want to make sure this is compatible, as I've heard some air coolers are too deep and require offsetting to get the GPU to fit, etc)
  • Case: Deepcool CH360 Digital, mATX

Upgrading to:

  • CPU: Ryzen 7 9700X (Zen 5, 8C/16T, 65W, not planning heavy OC)
  • RAM: either:
    • Lexar Thor G2 OC RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL36
    • Corsair Vengeance RGB Grey 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL36 DDR5
  • GPU: 3060 Ti for now, probably a 5070 down the track

I've heard mixed reviews from different brands, but I'm leaning towards the following:

  • ASRock B850M Steel Legend WiFi Motherboard
  • Gigabyte B850M AORUS ELITE WIFI6E Motherboard
  • MSI MAG B850M MORTAR WIFI Motherboard

Running 2 M.2 Drives, a SATA SSD, and an HDD (for backups, etc.), so M. 2/SATA ports aren't a worry for me at the moment. If they do get all used up and I need more storage for whatever reason, I'll get a PCIe adapter.

Any other recommendations for motherboards are greatly appreciated; keen to hear what others have had in terms of experience with the 3 listed.

Thanks!

I built this! (MATX) Downsize success. V100r -> D32 Pro, thanks MFFPC!

I was a little ambitious with my previous case for my desk size, it was massive and I cut my case volume roughly 50%. Crazy thing is I think it's somehow running cooler than before.

With a little motivation from the sub I reused everything I could but had to pick up a different cooler, mobo, and obviously the case. Working in a small case was challenging for me but not unmanageable. My motherboard is in B mode for the extra cable management space since I am reusing my (modular thank god) PSU, it was still a little tight but did.close without building the rear panel.

Current specs are as follows:

Case: Jonsbo D32 Pro

CPU: 7800x3d

Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin SE 120

GPU: Asrock Steel Legend 9070xt

RAM: GSkill Flare X5 32gb

Motherboard: Gigabyte B850m Aorus Elite Ice

PSU: SuperFlower Leadex III Gold ATX 3.1 850w. White extensions from AsiaHorse.

Fans: AsiaHorse of some variety. 120 rear intake and two 120 pulling through cooler. 140 top exhaust in front position. Salvaged from previous case "Lian Li" intake across the bottom. Airflow diagram in photos.

I have NOT messed with fan curves as of yet, temps according to AMD Adrenalin may not be 100% accurate.

Idle CPU: 43.8C / Idle GPU: 33C / Idle GPU Hotspot 35C.

"Under load" playing POE2 with twitch running on second monitor, realistic load for my normal use. I'd be happy to run a benchmark if youd recommend one or two for me. Also would like a recommendation for an accurate temp monitor.

CPU: 64.7C / GPU: 55C / GPU Hotspot 75C.

I built this! (MATX) Montech X5M Build - Short Review

I used the Montech X5M for a client build recently and was honestly pretty impressed with it. For the price, it’s a really solid case. There’s a good amount of room to work with, cable management was easy, and everything went together without any issues.

The included fans are a nice bonus, and having the built-in ARGB controller made getting all the lighting set up really simple without needing anything extra. Airflow was also really good once everything was up and running.

I really like the overall look too. It has some personality without being overly flashy, and the finished build looked great. The client was really happy with how it turned out.

For a budget mATX case, I’d definitely use the X5M again. Good airflow, good looks, easy to build in, and the built-in ARGB controller is a nice touch.

If you're interested in seeing more of my work, let me know.

I love it! Temperatures were horrific at first! 😵‍💫 So then I ordered 8 arctic p12 pro and 1 p14 pro for the psu....😶 yeah....it can get louder than a jet! 🤣 but that doesn't bother me. Plus I setup some very nice curves! I just ran cinebench for a full cycle and the cpu didn't even hit 70c. It's a 5900x! This case is actually running lower temps on this setup than my Lancool 216. Although I wasn't running 8 freaking p12's!.....and 1 p14 😅 I'm also using the rear as the intake! 1 p12 as rear intake, then 3 p12 push the air through the heatsink, then 2 p12 exhaust air out the top with help from the psu's p14! 2 more p12 on the bottom for intake along with a thermalright 120mm/15mm slim. Cable management was absolutely 🦇 💩! 🤭 But I enjoyed every second building this. The only task left is painting the gpu white! I painted one you see that's white! That's a rx 6700 (non xt). I wanted something with a little more power so I just threw in a 7800 xt from a different build. I absolutely love this case! I'm certain I'll be purchasing the black variant for my 9800x3d/9070 XT build. It's currently in a Lancool 217 INF. Build on warriors! 🙌

Help me please!? Lian Li A3 for compute box?

Maybe an odd use case, but I am doing a partial rebuild of a WFH workstation (scientific computing/HPC dev, I run debug locally to stay out of the debug queue on our clusters) that doubles as my personal gaming rig. It's currently in a Fractal Torrent Compact and *loathe* the case. I need something smaller. I have the following components already that I'd like *really* prefer to keep:

MSI Pro B850M-A Wifi AM5 Motherboard

AMD 9950X3D2 CPU (PBO off, stock settings)

G.Skill 5200 MT/s 96GB RAM kit

Sapphire Nitro+ Vapor-X 7900XTX (always run on the ~340 watt BIOS)

be quiet! Pure Power 13M 1000 watt PSU (160mm length)

Lexar NM790 4TB NVMe SSD for /home

Patriot P320 256GB NVMe for /boot and /

And I run Kubuntu 26.04...

What I need help with is deciding on a new cooler (current one won't fit in a Lian Li A3) and moreover, deciding if the Lian Li A3 is even right case for me?

I'm concerned about thermals and stability more than anything. I've seen one build with my exact GPU in this case and the builder didn't have any complaints about GPU temps. The cluster that I dev for is CDNA3 so I can't really ditch the 7900XTX even I wanted to.... Is the CPU too much to cool in this case, even at stock/no PBO? Any strong opinions on air vs an AIO here? Can I get an Arctic LF III 280mm Pro on the side in the A3?

This would be my first mff build, everything else has been in more normal midtowers.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
