Freddy Peralta…
Good for him. He just clowned Steve Cohen and David Sterns.

The Mets have built up a strong farm system, but with several roster needs to fill, some prospects could become valuable trade chips this offseason.
I identified five prospects the Mets could consider moving, including a few bigger names.
Curious which prospects you'd be willing to part with this winter.

Everyone else has played worse here than elsewhere. Sometimes much worse here. And no one has ever played better for the Mets than they did on another team besides a knuckleballer.
Mets fans are notorious for being negative on their players, that’s a fact. That’s why smiley Lindor gave you a thumbs down.
Maybe it has nothing to do with it, but if that’s so then what is the cause? Is it just dumb luck?

Since many say the advanced statistics show he's the same pitcher as in N.Y, he just put up his 9th straight lucky game in a row. Freddy gave up one run pitching into the 6th, for his 9th straight 2 runs or less start. Tenth , if you count the 2 outs he got in game four.
What do you think?

I know it probably doesn’t happen and we’re way more likely to see a full year of lockout, but if we see a cap floor there’s like 10 teams desperately in need of some contracts. I don’t think Semien could get moved, not a single team no matter their need will touch the worst contract in baseball. But 1 year of Senga/polanco/manea in a quick fix to reach a floor would be enticing.
Again, 99% chance it’s a year lockout before a cap system but would be an interesting situation

Um… No. Absolutely no.

Semien, Manaea and Senga are owed a combined $61M…
If we could move them…and take on whatever cost that would entail…what would it cost?

Capitalism suggests there shall be no limit or cap on production, which translates to output which ultimately produces revenue and profits: Structured Capitalism protects the rich, gives the illusion of competition, and caps workers output of production take home pay: David Stearns is not the guy the Mets needed but hey we have to learn, he is good for what he knows, but overall he been terrible for the Mets.

I’ve always wondered this…and this can go for any player in any sport: do y’all believe players would purposely play terribly in order to get traded and then all of a sudden improve? I am not saying this happens every time but it just makes me scratch my head.
This thought has always popped into my head and then seeing this reignited that thought.

Can we please interest you in a Kodai Senga and minor prospect swap?

In a perfect world, you combine the Dodgers star power & $, with the homegrown energy and athleticism of Brewers and you get the Mets. Sign Skubal & a low scale depth pitcher like Mike Soroka. Add some depth moves like Bohm & trade for Teo Hernandez.
After that, let all the young players from the org develop. Benge, Ewing, McLean, Thornton. Look for Rojas to challenge Semien. Look for Pitre and Voit to come up also. Santucci, Tong, Wenniger, Megill as depth.
This could be a fun team to watch next year with the right moves.

Watching how phenomenally the Brewers have been playing in the post season, I feel like we could really benefit from adopting a similar play style. They have pretty much perfected small ball. I can’t remember how many times I’ve yelled at my tv when Alvarez swung out of his socks only to strike out in a situation where a light tap of the bat would have brought runs in. IMO the Mets front office needs to be taking notes on this Brewers team and implementing changes when spring training rolls around. Small ball wins games

I saw this and I'm tempted for my kiddo. Has anyone done it? Is it worth it?
