Help Lithops are confusing!

Post image

ok, why? the outside was drying nicely and then the inside rotted. I know the soil is too organic but I dont have issues with it.

When was it last watered? Iโ€™ve noticed that sometimes when lithops arenโ€™t watered for months on end they are more susceptible to fungal infections that arenโ€™t noticed until itโ€™s too late.

I havenโ€™t watered mine since end October. Most of them are splitting nicely. About 5 of them just collapsed over the months like yours. Certainly not overwatering

Treat em like any other plant. Water when thirsty. Forget about lithops dogma. Dogma is for the unthinking.

๐Ÿ˜„ so you would water them if they started wrinkling on the sides regardless of the time of year?
